Morgan Elsbeth pleads for Thrawn to return and reignite the Empire and he's just like "those bitches? Fuck em. Ezzie and I started a band, we play Jizz music on Wednesdays. Nor is he afraid of Vader!! He tells Vader. TO HIS FACE. MULTIPLE TIMES. IN FRONT OF OTHER PEOPLE. that he knows Vader is Anakin. Vader kills people for this. Thrawn gives literally zero fucks.

If anything, he is intrigued. Look at that slight eyebrow raise. This is not the face of fear. It is a face of utter shock. Of alllll the Jedi in the galaxy, Ahsoka HAPPENS to be the Padawan of like the only Jedi Thrawn knows and knows intimately. As Anakin. AND as Vader.

Then the corner of his mouth twitches, as though he is trying not to smile. This is a gift. He knows Anakin and he knows Vader and therefore he knows Ahsoka.

HE IS NOT AFRAID.

I was tagged by @lotus-ashi to share some of the music that I've been enjoying lately. My music taste tends to mimic my mental state, which is pretty chaotic right now as it is finals week 🫠

Dangerous – Big Data feat. Joywave (Oliver Remix) There are no lyrics that speak to me with this one, but it's one of my favorite EDM pop remixes. Absolutely bangs.

151 Rum – JID Catchy as all hell. The instrumental goes crazy.

Hayloft – Mother Mother Also catchy as hell. Silly little song about shooting your daughter's boyfriend.

Oof, I always struggle with these...in no particular order:

1) Sometimes I am Pharaoh by Jarv Is (I don't need to explain my love of all things Pulp and Jarvis Cocker, we'd be here all day haha).

2) A Steady Hand by I Like Trains. These guys have been around for awhile, but deserve so much more recognition. The best way I think to describe them is like an amalgamation of early 2000s alt rock, prog and some smatterings of new wave. I went to a gig alone, it was phenomenal.

3) The Wizard by Bat for Lashes. She's my idol, and all her latest show dates conflict with big events at work. I want to cry.

4) Stranger in a Strangeland by Iron Maiden. Sometimes I have phases of repeatedly listening to Iron Maiden, and this song is dominating all at the moment.

5) Choremania by Florence and the Machine, basically I saw her live for the first time in Feb - and this song is still giving me goosebumps, which means I inevitably follow up with Which Witch and before you know it I'm blasting out Florence to the point where my neighbours probably think I'm in a cult.

I could go on, narrowing down to 5 is impossible 😭
