This is a special all ages event in the ETC. Everyone is welcome to this live streaming broadcast!
When:Â Tuesday, January 15 from 5 - 7:30 p.m.
Where: East Teen Center at East Library, 5550 N. Union Blvd.
It’s been a year since the publication of Green’s acclaimed The Fault in Our Stars. To mark the anniversary, Green and his brother will be speaking at Carnegie Hall—and everyone is invited, via live streaming video! Find an event near your hometown and you won’t have to miss a second of it. Be sure to check your local event, as some are first come first serve (no tickets), and some require reservations. Don’t worry if you don’t see an event near you yet. There are a ton more to come, and we’ll make sure to post them all!
You can also host your very own meetup, and watch the Vlogbrothers livestream with Nerdfighters near you!  Register at tumblr.com/meetups/organize and include the phrase ‘John Green Meetup’ in the venue field to receive a special Tumblr Meetup kit, while supplies last.

And here they are! Specially appearing at tonight’s lock-in event for our teen manga/anime club, and then on to a display in the Brookline Library: Marvel’s Avengers! These hedgehogs, made of repurposed books (drawn from our discarded but well-loved to the point of falling apart comics and paperbacks - no worries, replacements have already hit the shelves!), are decked out in full Avengers gear made by yours truly from duct tape. Powered by craftiness and geek passion. Enjoy!

Thanks to some great ideas from Teen Librarian's Tool Box, we had a great end of summer zombie party for our volunteers! Check out Pinterest for some ideas too.
