#Peonies sighting! After today's heavy #rain this peonies will pop in the sun expected tomorrow. Late this year. Sister dug peonies from grandma's #garden when visiting for her funeral in 1988. She then planted them in her own garden in Seattle and passed some back to us two years ago. They are thriving here once again. # raindrops #marshmellow #flower

Very cool! Look closely at this unusual c#lock called The #RemindOTimer. It was used in hotels to set room #wakeupcalls. As simple as that. A collectors piece heading to the flea market tomorrow. What's it worth?

Funky 1939 master recording, seems like vinyl on aluminum. Can't make out the hand written label. Wish it could be salvaged. Appreciating the final form of the disc, with patterns of flaking vinyl, before hauling it to the scrapyard.

But it feels good that we've taken the land back from the invasive growth that had knotted up the place. I've been searching for a definitive source for #advice on things like #insulation. Building Science is it. Fine #Homebuilding refers to their research often. Their site, with scientific articles in detail with excellent drawings all available no charge as PDF download, is like no other site I've seen. The only challenge is finding the correct article in the haystack of info. #engineering #design #drawing
