When @djmarinizelablog asked me if I wanted to participate, I almost choke. I said yes, only to almost die again when she told me the theme was Marahuyo which translates to " To be enchanted".
Now, I was like: How the HELL I'm going to write something cute and fluffy when I only know pain? LeviHan IS PAIN!
But I coped with the crisis and I came with a result: angst and fluff. That's how I roll.
Also, forget characterization. Throw it outbthe window because I wanted "sweet tooth candy melts scenario" and that's how both, especially Levi, feels about Hange in this piece.

Birthday pressie from the wonderful @someonestolemyshoes by the amazing @catyypss. In awe at how soft they look 😭😭 It's PERFECT OMG. This moment in chap 29 of BMO is so important to me. I feel emotional just looking at it. All that build up for that one scene. 🤣

I never thought I'd make ~ real ~ friends from fanfiction, but here we are 2 years later 🥰
Ok, putting aside whatever we feel about Hange’s death for a minute, let’s look at the last Levihan bits we did get in this last chapter.
First of all...
Levi says “Have you been watching?”
Levi asked Hange to watch them in 132. So, here he acknowledges it again. And guess what? She’s there watching all this while. He also said “Seeya, Hange” back in 132 and here he gets to see her again one more time. His facial expression before it shows their panel is also sad but even slightly warm. As if looking at a familiar sight that he loves. Then we see her face. Erwin and the others are there too. They look at peace. It’s so nice to see. But Hange...her eyes are sad. Her face is full of longing maybe? I’m sure she wishes she could be there with him. That they could have spent their lives together.
Then they fade out and Levi salutes while crying with a faint smile. On the upper panel on the left, we see the wings of freedom symbol. Maybe it’s the back of someone’s cape? The last person to fade out? Maybe Hange’s?
Time has passed. Levi is hanging out with Falbi and Onyankapon. A plane flies overhead. Gabi and Falco gaze up excitedly but Onyan and Levi share a look. A sort of familiar, sad look? They both know what the plane reminds them of. Why else would Isayama draw that panel? Even years later, Levi remembers Hange. He can’t be thinking of anyone else in this moment. Hange’s sacrifice is keen in his memory. And think about it, this is the last time we see Levi in this story. The last time we see Levi, he’s remembering Hange. Can it get any sweeter? Oh and, after this we see Mikasa remembering Eren. She sees a bird and we know it symbolizes him. Levi saw the plane, Mikasa saw the bird. Both Ackermans have moved on and survived but they still remember the people they gave their hearts to. They always will.
I remember seeing some tweets about the scene where Mikasa and Armin (I think?) were bowing at Historia before coronation ig and Levi was just standing like this 🧍🏻as a prove that he didn’t care about respecting anyone else lmao. Later, we found Levi kissing her hand just like everyone else.
He literally called her "Her majesty the Queen" tho
Did they want to prove that Erwin is Levi's only loyal object through this kind of thing again?
Unfortunately, Levi respects almost all of his superiors whom he doesn't dislike
in his interview:
Interviewer: We’ve heard that the Queen wants to protect the weak, including the poor children of the Underground. She now plans to set up orphanages, and you were someone who helped push this proposition through.
Levi: I was only obeying the orders of Her Majesty.
Interviewer: It’s quite surprising that you assisted in government policy.
Levi: It’s not something I told her to do. Historia just utilized those close to her to complete her existing objectives…it doesn’t seem all that unbelievable.
Moreover, he is very used to describing himself as a mere executor of command, attributing the idea and credit to others.
That's how he treated Erwin, and also Historia. Pity that his modesty are often used to belittle his will and judgement, to diminish him as a submissive character who would not doubt or object the opinions of his superiors, then called it "trust" or "love"
Seriously his obey for rulea and give rather credit to others, obeying command has nothing to do with being submissive or gay or being “in love with Erwin” but we know how these certain people are…
