Jon’s paranoia is a running joke in the TMA fandom like oh haha he stalked his coworkers and thought Martin was out to kill him via cups of tea!!!!

But…. He was right???? Not about everything but there was in fact an evil MURDEROUS creature pretending to be one of his assistants?? And someone in the archives DID kill Gertrude.

ITS FUNNY BUT LETS NOT ACT LIKE HIS PARANOIA WAS TOTALLY UNFOUNDED JON HAD IT SOMEWHAT RIGHT EVEN IF HE DIDN’T HAVE EVIDENCE

My absolute favorite bit in Glass Onion that I haven’t seen talked about much is the scene where “Andy” gets off the boat and Miles sees her for the first time. When you’re first watching the movie you’re thinking oh he’s probably just surprised and awkward cus his ex is here.

But the second time around you see his face you see the complete shock and realization hit him all at once as he struggles to keep cool because he’s the only one who knows shes supposed to be dead. Blanc tells us this later on when they’re making the plan that there will be one person who, the second they see Helen there, will know EXACTLY what she’s doing. And he did and it’s so painfully obvious by his expression that he knows she should NOT be there.

This scene made me lose my mind because just the contrast from the opening scene of Batman saying that he’s the darkness, he lurks in the shadow, he’s vengeance, and all that vs how now he is literally the LIGHT!!! he is a beacon for all of these people.

Batman actually saves almost nobody in this movie until this end part which I think shows how he was so focused on being a symbol of fear and power that he forgot what exactly he was doing all of this. For the PEOPLE. And at the end he finally realizes this and decides it’s more important to become a symbol of hope for those who need him.

Absolutely loving how much Guillermo from WWDITS looks like Martin Blackwood, I’ve had friends who don’t know TMA or WWDITS send me fanart thinking it’s JonMartin like here!!! These are those characters u like right?? And I don’t have the heart to break it to them

Can’t get over how since the tma fandom unanimously decided that Martin is trans, that now fic writers have to explicitly put “cis martin Blackwood” in the tags cus if not everybody will just assume he’s trans. Wonderful
