海よ 俺の海よ - そんなあなたに
Me everyday.
Yep.
Aaand here’s the other cover duet video that we filmed over the weekend. I get to be Emmylou Harris to Logan’s Gram Parsons in “Return of the Grievous Angel.”
May I present to you the next installment in the Wini & Logan duet cover video series.... In which I get to channel my favourite singer ever (Jenny Lewis, duh) and Logan does this Johnathan Rice style (not Elvis Costello).

And here a few photos that I took, I guess pretty...
Ah! You got to go on stage! Isn’t it surreal? It was one of the most amazing things I’ve done. These pictures are great!
Thanks! :D Yeah, it was seriously amazing and knew after the first time I saw them that I *had* to go onstage to dance the next time I saw them. This show was a seated show and my friends and I ran to the front of the stage as soon as we had the chance (security tried to stop us, but when there’s lots of people doing the same thing, they can’t stop everybody!). It was seriously the best night ever!
And here are a few photos that I took, I guess pretty much only of Stuart.

So, last night at Massey Hall, I danced onstage...
IS THAT NOT THE BEST FEELING EVER? I did the same thing when seeing them in Ottawa! They’re so good live :DDDD
Yes! It was seriously the best thing. When I saw them for the first time a few years ago, I was too far back (and it was the rainiest, muddiest day at an outdoor festival), so after that, I vowed that it was my life goal to dance onstage with them someday. It was so much fun and one of my favourite venues too. :D
So, last night at Massey Hall, I danced onstage with Belle and Sebastian during "The Boy with the Arab Strap" and "Legal Man." I also wrote this review that kinda sums up my fangirly-ness aftermath.
Got this amazing teal dress by Kling in an Emerging Thoughts grab bag and got so many compliments on it when I wore it yesterday. I also just happen to have a nearly-matching hair bow (but of course!).
All right, Sleater-Kinney: I am ready for you.
When someone compliments me on my glasses
When people freak out and say, "OMG YOU'RE WEARING GLASSES OMG ARE THEY NEW OMG WHEN DID YOU GET GLASSES THEY ARE VERY NICE."

"Heart Shaped Box" by Father John Misty // SXMU Sessions (2015)
Josh Tillman (Father John Misty) made a stop by the Sirius XMU studio this past week to support his excellent new album, I Love You, Honeybear. While there, he broke out a stripped down cover of Nirvana's “Heart Shaped Box”. It's a pretty incredible take on the classic, if only for Tillman's restraint in performing it, which feels like he's constantly on the verge of exploding at the chorus - like the original. It's that same restraint that gives this rendition of a sort of pained intimacy, which in turn makes all the difference in the world.
I'm madly in love with Father John MIsty. I'm a fangirl for a lot of artists, but I am seriously enamoured with this guy. This cover is swoonworthy and perfect. Those words don't even begin to describe it.
