i just realized i’d never made a woman-doing-makeup-in-the-mirror piece which is just SUCH a titular portfolio piece… i never really draw environments, so never any reflections, even just a basic mirror piece… and now i feel like i have to cover all the bases, gotta make a broken mirror self portrait, gotta try the 4pt perspective fisheye lens thing, gotta draw a hot girl making out with herself, maybe even a little portrait in a lake if i don’t immediately give up on it……. i really can’t believe i’ve never made any of these before

anyways this is probably a boring piece to most people and won’t get much attention which is fine. i’m just trying to work on my background-drawing skills and move out of my comfort zone. i never do monochromatic pieces either. drawing the background was awful and boring but i’m really happy with the way this turned out so i’m going to keep studying backgrounds so that i can do them quickly
