Symphonic, gothic, and/or operatic metal, though I’ll listen to any kind of metal or hard rock with haunting female vocals

Making art. I draw and sing sometimes, but I’m usually making jewelry and ceramic pieces—maybe both at the same time! I’m also a bit of a writer and a cosplayer.

Psychology. It’s pretty neat.

Asexual Attorney

Collecting physical media. Nothing beats some nice DVDs of your favorite animated series.

Classic novels. My middle school Lord of the Flies hyperfixation still influences me to this day—neurodivergence truly is an experience. Whether or not it’s a good one, you decide.

Most of this world does not know how to value a person it cannot use for output. Which means disabled people are forced to carry one of the heaviest forms of knowledge imaginable. They see, up close, how quickly society turns human beings into burdens the moment productivity is no longer guaranteed.

Being able to accept the concept of “we all struggle, but some of us struggle more severely/require more acute attention and protection” is an insanely important thing for your activism. please. i beg you. “we all struggle the same way so we shouldn’t rank it!!!” is rarely ever meaningful or helpful. people WILL struggle more than you. people ARE more marginalised than you. and it’s okay to admit that and still demand your own support. both can and should coexist. you should not be screeching “oppression olympics” when someone is trying to bring light to the difference in degree of marginalisation. someone struggling more than you does not mean you are not struggling.

Pro tip for my disabled and chronically ill friends in college: if you have to put a work order in and it is related any bit at all to your disability, write, very clearly in the "describe what needs to get done" section, "This issue is a health hazard," followed by a description of how the issue relates to your disability/chronic illness.

They are required to put it as a high-priority issue and fix it ASAP. Required BY LAW. Yes, I said it. They are legally required to fix these things, both under OSHA regulations and the ADA.

Play the disability card. I'm begging you. DISABLED IS NOT A BAD WORD. But don't abuse it. This is a fine line here.

Example: I'm heat and noise sensitive. My HVAC unit started breaking down and rattling loudly. That would be an example of a health hazard. A broken light could be a health hazard to someone with vision issues. I can only speak for myself here. But y'all have the right to speak up and advocate to yourself.

Neurodivergent people, this applies to you too. You're one of us (one of us! one of us! one of us!). Don't let the exclusionists gatekeep this information from you.

Disabled is not a bad word 💖

So many people have gotten really good at socially getting away with ableism by wrapping it in something more defensible. They'll make a post about something that is obviously true (i.e. "it is wrong to do this bad thing") and then couch an enthusiastic hatred of disabled people inside of it (i.e. "but I know you people are too on the spectrum to care") (<- implication that it's just disabled people who do the bad thing and that they do it because disabled people don't care about others). And then when someone calls out the latter part, the speaker hides behind the former part (i.e. "erm, so you're saying it's ableist to say people shouldn't do this bad thing? omg everyone look! disableds think it's ableist to criticize them!").

Once you start seeing it, you can't stop seeing it. And people keep falling for it, again and again.

omfg i might be an immense idiot. Neurodiversity counts as a disability?? I count??? Everytime i told my parents it was a disability they just shrugged it off or told me my neurodivergence wasn't a disability. I suppose it must be sooo shameful to even think about having a disabled child.

I am having FEELINGS about one certain line from Frankenstein (2025), and I need to talk about them immediatley or else I will spotnaneously combust.

As a queer, neurodivergent, and non-cisgender person, this fucking resonates. Trans people, drag queens, and queer people are demonized by politics and the media, accused of being pedophiles, or straight up murdered. But we're not trying to "groom" children or "impose" our beleifs onto anyone. We're just trying to survive and live our lives.

We are obscene to them, but to ourselves, we simply are.

In summary: Frankenstein (2025) really said, "You thought you were just getting another reimagining/adaption of Frankenstein's monster? WRONG. We are going to bring up all of your internalized emotions about being someone different in a society that will never fully, truly, understand or accept you for who you are and drag them to the surface, along with some of the most gorgeous cinematography and incredible acting performances you've ever seen."

And I think that's beautiful.

Stop comparing disabilities. Stop trying to one up disabilities. Stop speaking on disabilities you yourself are not even educated on, just because you are disabled does not give you the right or the knowledge to speak on behalf of somebody else’s disability that they LIVE with. We talk and talk about abled people’s ableism and their lack of knowledge and understanding and ignorance, but it is well within the own disability community as well and I don’t know why that’s not addressed with the same seriousness we give external ableism. You are not magically granted immunity from being called out just because you too, are disabled.

There’s also the issue of people using the word “neurodivergent” to mean JUST autism and/or ADHD, when there are thousands of disorders that fall under the category. There are a lot of diverse neurodivergent behaviors, but our community is shunning those that don’t fit an outright incorrect definition, which is exactly what abled people do to us. There’s a huge exclusionist mindset in our own safe space, and it’s extremely sad to see.

I'm sorry but I'm such a slut when it comes to Edgeworth actively being in love with Phoenix, appreciating him and showing it to him.

Like yes he's generally closed off and pretty emotionally stunted and his tsundere charms have contributed to 90% of his popularity but this man is up there in the top 10 pathetic yearners of all time.

Idk there's this tendency to put him in the "nagging wife" box where he's portrayed as like "Good grief Wright there you go being stupid again I can't believe I'm in love with such an idiot"

which is kind of a disservice to both of them because while Phoenix may have a very unorthodox approach to most things, he's really fucking smart actually(!!). Also even more of a bitch than Edgeworth but that's another discussion.

I kind of see where it's coming from but don't let Edgeworth's aloof demeanor fool you. He's just as down bad for Phoenix. He charters multiple private jets for him, brings him along to Europe because he values his opinion on cases (even though he is disbarred at the time), constantly thinks of him when he's in trouble or lonely or confused, makes an effort to be involved in his life and goes along with all of his schemes. Sometimes even egging Phoenix on when he gets another crazy (and smart!!) idea.

Give me more Miles Edgeworth appreciating Phoenix and his intellect and showering him in gifts and being actively happy to be with him!! Not just passively going along with his whims and grumbling to himself about how he can't stand anything about him, actually.
