there's two characters. they have been described as perfect natural foils. one of them has mentioned failing multiple classes throughout his solo run. he has skipped class to sleep, and is known for sneaking out at every opportunity, going so far as to training a dog to not bark at him to alert the headmaster. he participates in dangerous activities such as train jumping blind folded for fun. on the other side of the spectrum, you have someone that pays attention in class, down to knowing which raised hands are right vs left after they've gone down. he is rarely late, to the point that when he is, his teacher comments how unusual this is. in his solo run, he has repeatedly worked on school assignments and is seen participating in school events. he is close with several faculty members.

i love steph, i really do, but the way this fandom pretends some of her behavior never happened is unreal. as if doing bad things doesn't count because it's stephanie brown doing it. can we acknowledge her abusive tendencies, going back on deals and lying, taking things to the extreme, and typically putting herself above everyone else, please? you can love a character without erasing everything about them, i promise.
