Got some weird ideas for the Onix (named Brick for now) actually being the typical human in PMD stories and being helped by the team on their first mission as the start of their journey. The joke being that instead of a cute small critter go-getter that can go on adventures it's an anxious huge rock snake that is impractical in any enclosed environment.

Ok actually I tried making reference art for Brick (and found out Onix is very hard to draw in full once more) and figured I could check the actual heights of the team and uhh. Well, this is more accurate and it felt silly. So have a lore accurate sketch of this one.

So to me, there are spoons (general energy cost) and carnival tickets (specific energy cost).

Spoons can be used pretty much anywhere.

Carnival tickets are only good for the carnival, and it’s only in town for a limited amount of time.

So like, if I get “kitchen cleaning” carnival tickets, I can’t use that to clean my bedroom, that’s not where the carnival is.

Another very indulgent drawing of the elf fantasy OC named Grazhar who is kind of my online persona but also a fantasy character entirely separate from me despite his name.

To quote my filename for this one, this is the 'Attempted edgelord' variant. He angy and/or sad and holding his sword wrong because of it. Felt like trying another pose for once and it shows but hey it's drawing!

A quick headshot I made of an OC of mine who shares my screenname, Grazhar!

Was kinda happy with it so it gets the icon treatment in some places and I throw it out here. Just a fantasy elf warrior of sorts. He's seen some use in d&d and as an avatar in games with character creation but that's about it.

And one more! The other half of the PMD OC duo! Sabir the Budew! A founding member of Team Extraordinaire who actually loves and supports that name! They have a heart of gold and try so hard but are kind of bad at the whole exploring dungeon part. They're more of an in the back ideas kinda mon. More adept at managing supplies and logistics than actual battling. Or well... managing so long as it doesn't take fine motor skills.

Kinda liked the format I used for Treasa so doing it again!

More PMD character doodles! One of the duo I posted a bit ago, Treasa! The fearless leader of team Extraordinaire! (She did not pick the name and she hates how corny it sounds but it makes her friend -Sabir the Budew- happy so she will deal with it). And yes she really munches on Gravelrocks and other throwable rocks in secret. Rare Fossils are her favourite.

Was in a very doodly mood so mostly sketches, but figured I could clean and color one of them and make it sort of a reference. My brain is still mostly wired for humanoids so this was a fun exercise.

While still rusty from the huge (definitely intentional and not at all forced) break I took, I did some body doubling with a friend in person to finally get some sketching done! So there's a rare traditional doodle, as well as the digital version I worked on today. My boy Layne as a Mega Delphox Gijinka! May even finish this someday, but it prolly won't be relevant to the group he's in for a whiiile.

Just a quick doodle. Been having a bit of a PMD brain worm the last few days and finally got some time to sit down and draw. Always did wonder how limbless species do inventory management, so that led to this dumb idea.
