First dose of our new music over at The FADER ⚠️ #ERRORS
My eldest children :’)
tag yourself I’m poonytah
FireFloof because I’m floofy irl and I bring the fire
I'm HotDog. Because reasons.
If Sanders doesn’t get the nomination, and you can’t see yourself voting for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, then don’t. Vote third party.
Consider the Libertarian or Green Party.
Don’t feed the establishment by voting for Clinton, and don’t feed authoritarian isolationism by voting for Trump.
No. The absolute largest chunk of people considering changing their votes at the moment are disappointed non-conservatives. There was barely any competition among republicans; from the get-go, the voter base united behind Trump. If non-conservatives split their votes across multiple fronts, they WILL lose.
Voting third party in America throws your vote directly into the garbage. Our system does not work like Australia’s. You don’t get a second or third choice, and candidates who win aren’t going to look at the numbers and say “I see 25% of Americans voted Green, I should implement Green policies.” That’s not how it works. Conservative voters overwhelmingly back a single party, the GOP, while non-conservative voters are the ones that scatter across multiple, weak fronts when faced with an unappealing Democratic party nominee. Think about it like this:
The majority of Republican voters support Trump and are not changing their vote even though party leaders and figureheads are universally decrying him. They’ve been groomed for decades by the GOP to be this way, and now party leaders have lost control of the impressionable voter base they created for themselves. There’s nothing they can do about it at this point. While a small number of Republicans can and are switching parties, it’s not very much. Meanwhile, Democrats are floundering, trying to decide which front to unite under. Some of them go to the Green party or Libertarians, sure; the rest stay with the Democratic party in the hopes that even with people leaving, they will have enough to block Trump. But Trump doesn’t need a majority of total Americans to vote for him; he only needs more than the other candidates have. Do you understand what I’m saying? Trump could get 10% of the vote, but as long as no other party has more than 10%, he still wins. The second you split the left and middle across three or four fronts, the right seizes control. This is how it goes down every single fucking time we go through this.
The other thing to consider is that the electoral college is NOT going to weigh in favor of a third party. Doing so would be political suicide. They are paid to vote certain ways, and not doing so would fuck up their careers. Even if an entire state votes in favor of a third party, the electoral college is going to vote for whichever primary party matches up the closest, and sometimes not even that. Their votes are counted when making the actual choice of president; ours are not. They proved that with Gore. The majority of Americans voted for him; the electoral college installed Bush anyway and told us to suck it up. The question at this point is whether they’d risk it a second time, and we have to hope that they won’t, which is why we have to unite under a single front to block Trump.
^^^^^^^THIS!!!!!!!!!! People do not understand that under our plurality system, it doesn’t matter if the majority of the population doesn’t vote for Trump. As long as he has more than any of the other candidates, he wins. Splitting up the more liberal voters is now what non-Trump supporters want to do.
THESE CHILDREN ARE TOO YOUNG TO REMEMBER ROSS PEROT
And Ralph Nader.
DO NOT SPLIT THE VOTE, PLEASE! GOP is gonna vote Trump, they won’t vote for a 3rd party person. That means a solid voting bloc. Dem who split the vote are in essence giving him a free vote. HILARY WITH ALL HER FAULTS IS STILL BETTER THAN TRUMP!
GOD DAMNIT YALL BETTER NOT SPLIT THE DEM VOTES
This is how the Conservative Party in the UK won the last election with less than 40% of the overall vote!!!! Don’t do it America!

NOT splitting the vote is how Canada snagged this magical unicorn man in the last election. Basically everyone I know voted strategically, even if it was against their party, to ensure that Harper’s crusty conservative ass was kicked the hell out. Personally I waffle between the Green Party and the NDP politically, but I sure as heck voted Liberal last election.
Reblogging again to remind everyone to vote STRATEGICALLY. Think of it like you are actively voting AGAINST Trump, instead of for Clinton, if it goes against your moral fiber, like it does mine.
Reblogging primarily for the description of Justin Trudeau as a “magical unicorn man”.
Seconded on the magical unicorn man. I met him when he was doing work for Katimavik. He's the real deal. And I think he's legit magical.

These dudes are fucking legit. They don’t just show up one day in court, either, they actually make friends with the kids and let them know they have a support system and that there are people in the world who care about them and will always have their back. And less important, but also cool, is that the few times a couple of them have come into my cafe, they’ve been super friendly and polite and when I told one of the guys that I noticed his Bikers Against Child Abuse patch and wanted him to know how awesome I thought he was because of it, he got kind of shy and blushed and said, “The kids are the awesome ones, we just let them know they’re allowed to be brave.”
The source is long, but so, so good. These men and women are available in 36 states, 24 hours a day to stand guard at home, in court, at school, even if the child has a nightmare. Many of them are survivors of childhood abuse as well, and know what it’s like to feel scared and alone.
In court that day, the judge asked the boy, “Are you afraid?” No, the boy said.
Pipes says the judge seemed surprised, and asked, “Why not?”
The boy glanced at Pipes and the other bikers sitting in the front row, two more standing on each side of the courtroom door, and told the judge, “Because my friends are scarier than he is.”
Actual tears.. hnngh
Show me more of people like this, world. I give up on humans too easily.
where do i sign up for this,i want to be in this gang
This is fucking amazing. It may be out of character for me to say this but rock on
Bikers Against Child Abuse was founded in 1995 by a Native American child psychologist whose ride name is Chief, when he came across a young boy who had been subjected to extreme abuse and was too afraid to leave his house. He called the boy to reach out to him, but the only thing that seemed to interest the child was Chief’s bike. Soon, some 20 bikers went to the boy’s neighborhood and were able to draw him out of his house for the first time in weeks.
Chief’s thesis was that a child who has been abused by an adult can benefit psychologically from the presence of even more intimidating adults that they know are on their side. “When we tell a child they don’t have to be afraid, they believe us,” Arizona biker Pipes told azcentral.com. “When we tell them we will be there for them, they believe us.” ( Article)
More about BACA, from their site
My parents are a part of this organization and they are metal af
They go on runs to protect the child if they feel even the slightest threatened no matter where. If the child needs them to go on vacation with them, they do. Bikers come from across the nation to watch over and take shifts for these kids. And the best part is once you’re adopted into this family as a BACA kid, you’re always one. Even when you’re 40 and the perp gets released from jail, they’ll come meet with you and find your best options for avoiding the person and maintaining the life you’ve built for yourself. Once a BACA child, always a BACA child. In Florida, there’s 100% rate for identifying the perp based on the child’s testimony. Why? Because BACA stands with the child and supports the child so they feel comfortable enough to point out their attacker.
What’s better than a badass biker gang being on your side???
NATIVE AMERICAN CHILD PSYCHOLOGIST WHO IS A BIKER AND NAMED HIMSELF CHIEF HELL YES I’M HERE FOR THAT AND BIKERS BEING BAD ASS TO PROTECT KIDS. HELL YEAH.
it’s back! I will always reblog BACA
reblog if you’re part of the “i’m not comfortable with my tummy rolls, but can rock the fuck outta a tshirt and undies” squad

People love to talk about whether or not disabled people can work
but if you can work just fine and your disability is destroying your ability to have a life outside of work (because work takes all your energy and more)
Dead silence. Nobody cares.
File this under, oh you can be active for 4 hours? You can work part-time. Um no, I have to get ready for work (30 min) get to work (15 min) get home from work (15 min) feed myself all day (30 min) maintain myself, my home and my life (15 min, yeah right), which leaves 15 min for work and absolutely nothing else.
This is so accurate, back after I’d relapsed I wanted to try and go in for one class at school so I could still stay in contact with the education system. I let slip during a meeting that I managed to drag myself to that I could manage about 4 hours of activity a week, which the teacher sprang on to mean I was being lazy for just trying to get to 1 hour class. Never matter that it was 30 minutes travel, that I would have to get washed and dressed, that I would probably still need to recover for 3 days from it.
Far too often abled people see the things they do easily as “non activities”, they don’t realise that for many disabled people these things have to be carefully planned and measured, and sometimes they simply can’t be done.
reblog bc the non activities thing seems really important words
I get X number of pain-free steps per day right now, which means that, for large conventions (like SDCC), I need to be in a mobility device. I had someone ask if I used up my steps every day before transferring to the scooter, and look surprised and a little horrified when I said “no, I save them so I can go to the bathroom unassisted.” Like, they had never considered that walking is involved in peeing.
Reblogging for the important point that the term “activity” may mean something very different and much broader for a disabled person with a chronic pain or fatigue related condition compared to its meaning for a non disabled person. If you’re tired enough, simply sitting up in a chair rather than lying in bed is an activity that drains energy otherwise usable for other things. A thing I knew from other people with pain and fatigue related conditions, but worth reinforcing for followers who didnt know or had forgotten.
Not Famous Enough? Navajo Nation Loses Urban Outfitters Case
The largest tribe in the United States could not prove it was “famous” enough to win a trademark case against the hipster fashion giant.
The Navajo Nation lost two counts in a multi-million dollar lawsuit against Urban Outfitters because the tribe’s trademark is not “famous” enough, the court siding with the fashion giant’s argument that “Navajo” is a generic term for a style or design.
The Indigenous tribe—the largest in the United States—had to prove that the term “Navajo” is “widely recognized by the general consuming public of the United States” to move forward with the trademark dilution case, which few courts have been able to prove, said New Mexico’s District Judge Bruce Black on Friday.

!!!WARNING TO MY FOLLOWERS IN FOLSOM, CALIFORNIA AND ALL CAM MODELS/SEX WORKERS!!!
20 year old Bret Oscar, when his sexual feelings were not reciprocated, threatened a cam model friend of mine with giving her information to people who would harm her, specifically rape and traffic her. A history of indirect threats being legally dismissed, ESPECIALLY online, taught Bret Oscar and many others to be vague when making otherwise criminal threats. Afraid and unaware of what else to do, my friend posted the first screen cap to her Instagram page. It was then that Bret messaged her that ‘when it happened’ he would ‘tap into her account’ and ‘post the pictures of what’s happening to you’.
Bret Oscar no longer works at the tech repair place, I called, so no one need bother with that. My intention in sharing these photos and this information with all of you is to serve as a warning to those local (again: FOLSOM, CA) to Bret Oscar, who clearly finds these heinous threats towards women who deny him sexually safe & acceptable to make, as apparently this isn’t the first time he has done this. I also hope that anyone who knows Bret’s family personally would pass these images along to anyone who could more seriously address this behavior with him, as local police are likely unable to do that due to where these threats took place (though they were contacted about this as well, just to be sure).
This was apparently posted in 2013, when he was presumably 17, but as we can see, his misogynistic attitude and behavior has carried on into adulthood. I hope this can help anyone wishing to avoid him & his violently misogynistic behavior in doing so.
God Damn! Guys like that make so fucking mad. Anytime I hear about these kind of dirt bags my fuse gets lit so fast. It makes me want to put on a certain mask I retired due to a promise I made to a friend. Cause well being shot isn’t one of the top things on my lost especially since I live in AZ where we basically have no gun laws. But back to the subject at hand. I want to put it back to find him and scare him to death if i lived in the area. So to any of my followers in the area just be aware of this total low life.
I mean, Cam girls are pretty lame tbh
But this is disgusting.
There’s nothing wrong with cam girls, it makes you look like the shitty one for calling other people that you know nothing about lame.
Meh in this society there’s nothing wrong with immorality so I don’t judge you for thinking that.
Being a cam model is an actual job and the reason there is a stigma around it is because of idiots like you that think it’s “immoral” for a woman to be comfortable with her body and willing to share her body with others.
You can keep hurling insults at me all you want. So what if being a cam “model” is a real job? No one is disputing that. Excuse my use of the word “lame.” What I meant was immoral. It’s a hard stance to take but honestly I don’t care how comfortable anyone is with their body if they’re using that comfort for immoral purposes all for the sake of making money.
Whatever moral issue you have with yours and other’s body parts, please take it somewhere else. I’ve tried to block you, twice now, so I don’t have to see this continue and yet here we are, Thanks Tumblr.
As you can tell, your comment about cam girls wasn’t warmly welcomed on this post, made by a cam girl to help protect other cam girls, which are both pretty good indicators that you probably shouldn’t be negative for absolutely no other reason than to read yourself be critical. “It’s a hard stance to take”- ah yes I’m sure it has been extremely difficult for you to continue calling sex work immoral in the face of a society that has always adored sex workers, worships, supports & protects us like soOoOoOo much, so you must have been relentlessly bullied, maybe even violently, for your stance. Please consider, has it been anything as awful as this woman being made to fear for her safety simply because of what people think of her job, what does she do again? Hmmm… If you have nothing of actual value to contribute (sorry, ‘this is immoral because it’s involves naked human bodies and money’ doesn’t cut it as useful commentary, though it may have been new & exciting in like 2400 BCE) you should probably just hit the reblog & shhh next time. If you can’t choke down your stigmatic bullshit, even on a post that clearly demonstrates why, do in on your own posts.
Carry them home one last time.

Sage advice. See more highlights from Drake’s superb SNL.
I love this advice, especially at a point where I don't feel like I'm really doing anything with life.
