You know that scene in Crystalized when Lloyd and Harumi are falling from the Oni temple? I know we all were like "hey this is callback to the building Harumi was on that Lloyd couldn't save her from but now he can save her" but also consider the scene this way.
Lloyd and Harumi falling from the Oni Temple into primeval's eye parallels the first time they fell into primeval's eye. The first time they fell, it was due to Harumi's manipulation. She hacked into Pixal, causing the attack that lead to her and Lloyd falling to Primeval's Eye. The second time they fall, though, it's due to Lloyd. Harumi dragged Lloyd away from his friends, Lloyd dragged Harumi away from the Overlord and the Crystal council.
The first time they fell, the two fall separately. Harumi's protected by the Samurai X suit, Lloyd leaves her to ensure his own safety. The second time, they fall together. They cling to each other, they don't separate.
Harumi needed Lloyd the first time they fell. She needed him to get the Mask of Hatred. She needed Lloyd the second time too, just in a different way. Harumi spent the first portion of Crystalized with Lloyd kidnapped trying to get Lloyd on her side. She wanted darkness to consume him, because then that makes her right. She was trying to prove that she was right, that darkness is stronger than light by corrupting THE hero who, in her eyes, is the personification of light. If Lloyd succumbs to darkness, then Harumi was right, then she made the right choice.
I think the scene that parallels the building scene in S9 is that final shot of the Oni temple, after the final battle against the Overlord. Just like before, it's Harumi, Lloyd, and Garmadon. The temple is falling, it's crumbling around them. Unlike the building though, Harumi isn't afraid to die, she wants to. She just found out she basically just sided with her parents murderer. She saw Lloyd turn into an oni and then bring himself back. She saw in real time that she was wrong, she was wrong about everything, and she wants to die now. Just like in S9, Harumi's delusion broke, but it's different now then it was then. This time she doesn't look for help, she accepts her fate. But Lloyd's there, unlike how he was in S9. He's there and he can save her now, and he does. He chooses to save her when he couldn't then. This was his second chance.
