AS TIRED AS HE IS, Hunter… really likes the Human Realm. The circumstances are less than ideal, sure, but… well, it’s nice here. And he really likes the rain.
That being said, there are more pressing matters at hand–he’s been helping everyone patch themselves up for the last… well, he hasn’t been keeping track, but he’s been in the house long enough that he’s figured out its layout and all possible escape routes from any given room on the first floor. He–he isn’t going to need those, but… old habits die hard, he supposes.
Only once everyone else has been tended to does Hunter sneak off to take care of his own scrapes and bruises, and… the, ah. Unsightly mess that is his right arm. It still hurts, and he hasn’t been able to move it very far–lifting it above his head entirely isn’t going to happen, and his fingers keep locking up with the pain.
He settles down on the bathroom floor, rolling up his sleeve and peeling off his glove to take a better look at it–to see if there’s anything he can actually do. The door is left slightly ajar. His hand tenses, and he can’t help the pained grunt that escapes him.
Ugh. This is going to be annoying.
:: Leaning in the doorway, Willow watched him remove his glove. She too wanted to know just what the Draining Spell had done to her friend. She wondered how badly her dads were affected, how long they suffered while the spell was active. She tried not to dwell on it though. She couldn’t afford to spiral, not now. There wasn’t anything she could do about it now. She just had to focus on helping her friends through this. It was a horrible experience for all of them.
She ended up pressing a little too hard on the surface of the door, the movement making the wood creak and accidentally announce her presence much earlier than she would have liked. She raised her hands, an apology on her tongue before she heard the pained noise escape him. Hanging her head, she stepped closer, sitting cross legged beside him on the tiled floor. “How bad does it hurt?” She asked, scooting closer so their shoulders were touching, leaning her head on his shoulder. She didn’t rest its entire weight though, letting him move away from the touch if he chose to.
“I didn’t study a lot of healing magic at Hexside. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to start another track so soon after switching the first time.” She pursed her lips in thought. “But I know a little. I could try to help if you want? I don’t know if it will actually help but... It’s worth a shot right?” She extended her hand as an offer to take his, trying for a reassuring smile though she knew her eyes would tell just how worried she truly was about his injury. ::
