Feelings. Jesus. The truth is, for so long, I’d forgotten what those even were. I’ve been stuck in one place, in a cave, you might say. A deep, dark cave. And then, I left some Eggos out in the woods, and you came into my life and for the first time in a long time, I started to feel things again. I started to feel happy. But, lately, I guess I’ve been feeling distant from you. Like you’re you’re pulling away from me or something. I miss playing board games every night, making triple-decker Eggo extravaganzas at sunrise, watching westerns together before we doze off. But I know you’re getting older. Growing. Changing. And I guess if I’m being really honest, that’s what scares me. I don’t want things to change. So, I think maybe that’s why I came in here, to try to maybe stop that change. To turn back the clock. To make things go back to how they were. But I know that’s naive. It’s just not how life works. It’s moving. Always moving, whether you like it or not. And, yeah, sometimes it’s painful. Sometimes it’s sad. And sometimes it’s surprising. Happy. So, you know what? Keep on growing up, kid. Don’t let me stop you. Make mistakes, learn from ‘em, and when life hurts you, because it will, remember the hurt. The hurt is good. It means you’re out of that cave.

Lucas loves painting but Max sucks at it, but still he keeps poking her to paint with him and she pretends she hates it when she doesn't because spending time with him or El is her favorite hobby anyway, however Lucas always needs to be the one to clean up after they're done

Max loves Spicy food whereas Lucas can't tolerate even a bit of it, he loves desserts though

They read comics and watch sports together

Max is the little spoon most times but whenever anybody asks the title goes to Lucas by default

Erica, Max and Lucas often go to hang out together, it basically becomes a date with Lucas being the third wheel.

Both of them paint each other's nails, Lucas cleans it off almost instantly, not because he thinks it looks bad, but because it's just not his taste, he did it so max could practice on him where on the other hand Max tries to keep them as long as possible because it's beautiful

They have deep conversations till dawn

They bake together, Max loves it when Erica is involved

Lucas 10/10 cries on their wedding day (in the far future not when they're young just so yk lol) and Max has a hard time acting she's chill because she too wants to cry, she just loves Lucas sm, however she can't hold back her tears anymore during the vows

guy's i just started harlan coben's shelter and i'm like about to start the fifth episode, all this time i thought about how spoon's HIGHLY possibly neurodivergent because first of all

he has ONE SPOON that is very important to him as it's obvious the whole series, he literally jumps and skips all the time he walks like literally everytime and and he shakes his leg while sitting or concentrating, there was this whole scene that ,it didn't show his legs but, he was shaking so that's obvious

Needing help: Mystery tropes/ ideas for a screenplay

Hi! I'm actually writing a tv series with some characters I've made bc one day I hope to be a filmmaker and actor.

However, I've spent too much effort or energy thinking about the characters, and I have my brain drained to prepare the plot, so I was willing if anyone had any good ideas over some thriller/mystery teenage drama settled in a little USA town(hardly original I know) which should be starred by these characters:

Al: A quirky and dramatic autistic guy with long hair who is used to wearing cardigans, loves fantasy, D&D, and worrying about nonsense issues.

Adam: a nerdy artist who loves music, painting, sculpting, and art in general. He's been a nerd his whole life, but he wants to be respected and included.

Gray: A sensible, caring, and emotional guy with overweight and a great sense of humor who loves literature.

Clement: A vietnamese descendant brainy guy who loves maths, physics, and technology but lives in the countryside on a familiar farm. He also loves animals, preferring his dog over other humans.

Erin: a trans girl new im town, who rapidly befriended this geeks. She's intelligent, caring, and also geeky, loving sci-fi, D&D, and comic books. She loves gardening and botany, as she feels protected and accepted by plants and nature

However, as these characters try to solve a mystery, in parallel, we should have the other protagonist:

Connie: the typical popular girl of the institute, a pretty cheerleader, who is trying to solve the mystery of her recently disappeared sister. While she's doing her own investigation, she should meet with the geeks and start their research together , as these two mysteries should be connected.

If anyone has any suggestions to develop a plot over these, I'd be forever grateful. And if anyone liked these Oc' and like to know more abt them, I'll love to tell more( I even made graphic moodboards abt them)
