HOW DO YOU NEED TO BE LOVED?

You've been left beaten down and by someone you really trusted and loved, so now love doesn't come easy for you. You want it to. You want to love and be loved, but you're not sure you remember how. So you need someone else to take the lead. They have to be gentle and sweet and patient. They have to watch out for you, and make sure you’re doing okay, because most days you feel a little fragile, if not totally shattered.                        elphaba   opens   her   mouth   to   protest  ,   to   state   just   how   contradicting   her   roomie   was   being  ,   only   to   decide   against   it  .   there   was   no  such   thing   as   reasoning   with   galinda  ,   intoxicated   or   otherwise  .   “   i   know  ,   ”   said   with   a   smirk  .   “   that’s   what   makes   me   so   nice  .   ”    curl   in   her   lips   is   gone   in   a   flash  ,   though  ,   upon   the   blonde’s   insistence  .   instead  ,   she   SCOFFS  .    “   i’m   afraid   i’ll   have   to   pass   on   that  .   i’m   far  from   the   life   of   any   party  .   ”

                     dormitory   door   opens   with   a   wave  of   her   hand   so   the   two   can   step   inside   without   stumbling   over   one   another  .   a   huff   from   elphaba.   the   stairs   should   prove   to   be   interesting  .

––––––––––  ❀    𝐈𝐅 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐀𝐒𝐊𝐄𝐃 galinda when she had said the words that came out of elphaba’s mouth , in her present state she wouldn’t be able to tell you. however , she knew she’d said them , and on instinct a shrill GIGGLE escaped her. “ oh , elphie !!! ” and with her gentle chiding , elphaba receives a tap on her arm that was meant to be something like a smack. “ you’re the life of MY party !! ” with that she leans in a bit , holding elphaba tighter as she practically falls through the open dormitory doors. 

          “ it’s so WARM !!! sweet oz , I can’t wait to be HOME ! sometimes I think I could stay out all night , then I think about you and our beds and your little desk and I miss it !! ” a wistful hiccup. “ isn’t that nutty ? ”

                     it’s   a   wonder   how   a   couple   drinks   can   cause   galinda   to   be   twice   as   endearing   &   equally   as   boisterous  .   still  ,   she   has   the   greener   of   the  two   smiling   to   herself  .   it’s   awfully   nice   to   be   loathed   by   one   less   person   in   the   world  .   a   brow   arches   as   blonde   babbles   on  ,   earning   a   CURT   laugh  .   don’t   dream   too   far  ,   elphaba  .

                     “   now   i   know   you’ve   had   too   much  .   ”   she   chides  .   “   come   on  ,   then  ,   if   you   miss   it   so   badly  ,   ”   before   even   giving   the   matter   a   second   thought  ,   elphie   has   galinda   in   her   arms  ,   marching   up   the   stairwell   with   cheeks   burning  .
