The Quiet Architecture of Midnight
There is a specific kind of clarity that only arrives after the rest of the world has fallen asleep. It’s the hour where the walls of the room seem to expand, and the silence becomes a physical presence, heavy and comforting like a wool blanket in mid-winter.
I find myself drifting through the pages of a worn-out paperback, the scent of vanilla and dust clinging to my skin. Between the lines of forgotten poetry and the rhythmic ticking of a clock, I am reconstructing the pieces of a dream I can't quite remember, but deeply miss.
Here, in the velvet embrace of the night, we are all just ghosts of who we intend to be. Until the sun breaks the spell, I'll stay here, lingering in the ink and the echoes.
