I'm part of KONGArchived, a project dedicated to cataloging every interview from the virtual side of the band with transcriptions for each interview. This will be more comprehensive compared to LobotomyPop or the Gorillaz Wiki, which both lack several interviews or transcripts from each phase. We have several members of the team so far, but are always looking for more help.

it’s tiiiiime for another one of my murdoc audio posts! by request, here is a tribute to murdocs many many speech habits.

showcasing his weird growly noises, the “hawhawagughn” laugh, just some regular laughter because its cute af, his stuttering, his tendency to SCREAM IN THE MIDDLE OF SENTENCES, the unnecessary drrrrrrrrrrrrrragging emphasis on some words, and then just some of the other odd speech tics he has. lovely! <3

of course, this is obviously not EVERY single one. I’m pretty sure that would take forever to make and the audio itself would be like an hour long at the least. but its a few!

My time as a Gorillaz fan has been spent choosing a favourite character but now I can say for certain that he takes the cake. Murdoc is an asshole for sure but as someone who relates to him a lot I find myself rooting for him sometimes. He’s got a lot going for him and he’s so interesting and funny and you can’t help but get engrossed in his story. It’s hard to describe why I love him so much or how he went from my least favourite to my top favourite (almost without realising) but it happened. Happy birthday you old pickle I love you🥒💚
