It's kind of tragic how homophobia affects insecure men.

Like sometimes they want to experiment with a bit of anal and instead of just buying a sex toy and some lube like a normal person, they instead shove random objects up their ass that inevitably get stuck and then they try to get them out by themselves which makes things worse and then they lie to doctors about it and like this all leads to all kinds of extra complications like internal damage, risk of infections, bleeding, the fall of Yugoslavia, etc.

Come on guys, just buy a dildo. It's way safer and it leads to way fewer problems.

I didn't know the english name before looking it up for this post, but I did remember the finnish name, västäräkki, which I usually never remember because for some reason my brain associates it with corvids, and somehow goes "ain't no way that's the right name for that bird, they're tiny. That's a smallbird."

They are, apparently, also the national bird of Latvia!

Been watching a lot of Third Doctor Episodes and

Well... I'm really kind of getting why The Master is like that to The Doctor in later life. Like, The Master has really spent centuries not parsing the difference between what he does and what the Doctor does.

A situation happens. The Doctor lands on a planet. There's conflict and strife. And he's the most intelligent person in the room. And if only EVERYONE WOULD LISTEN TO THE DOCTOR and do exactly as The Doctor says, everything will be just fine.

Sure some people may die, but ! Dying is a part of life. It's the natural state. The Doctor can't stop the little deaths but he can stop the greater conflict so that, on the whole, everything is better.

Now along comes the Master with his plot to rule the universe. There's conflict and strife. And he's the most intelligent person in the room. And if only EVERYONE WOULD LISTEN TO THE MASTER and do exactly as The Master says, everything will be just fine.

Sure some people may die, but ! Dying is a part of life. It's the natural state. The Master is not going to personally kill all the little people, he only cares about ruling the big picture universe, so that, on the whole, everything is better.

The Master must be seething, thinking: They're the same person! Doing the same things!

The Doctor is controlling the universe! With his innate goodness and his need to direct people to what they should be doing.

Oh you mean like how The Third Doctor's Tardis got stuck, and he solved a lot of problems for UNIT, which incidentally involved killing a lot of bad people over those several seasons. But because those bad people were invaders or monsters or threatening the Doctor's favorites, they had to go. And yes The Doctor does give his enemies a chance, if only they would obey The Doctor they would survive the day. He only didn't take over the city because he runs away from authority. He doesnt want to be the ruler or the president he wants to putter about in his shed.

Good gosh by the time The Master is Simm he must be so fed up with the Doctor.

the trevor project’s 2025 u.s. national survey on the mental health of lgbtq+ young people dropped!

the rates overall are absolutely abysmal (as all lgbt+ people are in such dire straights!), but i cannot help but notice how trans boys and men consistently show the highest or second highest percentages, fuck our community is such an open wound, we have got to keep loving trans men and boys with everything we’ve got, we’ve got to try and get those numbers down in any way we possibly can, where ever we possibly can.

god that drastic leap up to 20% for trans boys and men in the ‘being threatened with or subjected to conversation therapy’ section makes me nauseous !

You know what I'm just going to say it the trans community is incredibly fucking selfish and divisive and I am sick to death of it.

I fucking hate the people that use "TMA" and "TME" language to essentially exclude people that aren't trans women because they don't experience "intersectional" transphobia which is fucking bullshit. Trans men do experience struggles unique to them (such as reproductive issues, the struggles of being seen as women by wider society, and others).

I fucking hate the trans-misogynistic transmasculine (and even some non binary) people that say that transfeminine people are essentially evil scum because they're rapists predators going along with baseless shit that they believe anyway because it's about trans women.

And above all I hate how non binary and intersex people are just fucking ignored and barely even mentioned except to binarise us or force this stupidly reductive sex binary on us.
