When did you first get into 2?

Listening into the cast recording for the first time.  I knew then that I had to see this show

How did you get into 3?

I booked to see it in London during previews because Shayne Ward, Justin Lee Collins and some other musical theatre performers I was familiar with were in the cast.  I fell in love with the show the minute it started.

What is your favourite song by 5?

So Much Better

How many times have you seen 2 live?

3 times since it started performances in London.

What is a good memory concerning 5?

Final night - the atmosphere in the theatre that night was electric.  Also, any muck-up matinees they did, Legally Blonde did amazing muck-up matinees.

Had an amazing time at Book of Mormon yesterday.  This was the 3rd time I've seen the show, and it just gets better every time.  We had loads of swings on yesterday which was pretty cool - I always love seeing how different people play the parts, even if they're just in ensemble tracks.  

Daniel Buckley was Elder Cunningham and I thought he was absolutely brilliant.  He is incredibly different to Jared - he's not as hyper, and he's a bit more innocent/naive than Jared too.  His acting was great, and his singing was fantastic - I loved Man Up at the end of the first act.

Gavin Creel was his usual fantastic self.  I'm blown away by his voice every time I've seen the show, and yesterday was no different.  His voice is so powerful - it's quite a difficult score to sing but he makes it look very easy.  His acting was also superb, and he had a very good relationship with Daniel, despite it being only their 3rd show together as Price and Cunningham.  He was hilarious and lovely at stage door too - he was telling everyone how he loves taking selfies, which was very funny.  

Alexia Khadime - I love her to bits, she is perfect as Nabulungi.  Her voice is very well suited for the part.  I know some people find it rather nasally, but it is perfect for Nabulungi.  Her Sal Tlay Ka Siti was, as ever, brilliant, and I loved her in Baptize Me - I love the growly bits she does.  Her reprise of Hasa Diga Eebowai is stunning, it perfectly showcases how powerful her voice is, and it is also superbly acted.  She should be nominated for an Olivier next year, and I'd love to see her win because she would certainly deserve it.

Stephen Ashfield - What a star.  I've been a fan for years, but this is by far my favourite role of his.  He continues to be hilarious as Elder McKinley (and Moroni/Elder Green - the latter of which got a lot of laughs yesterday), as well as having a fabulous voice, and a very good dancer - which initially was a surprise to me, given his previous 2 West End roles involved little dancing.  He is also absolutely lovely at stage door - rather embarrassingly he knows my name and comes over to have a quick chat every time I see a show of his.

Ensemble - Loads of swings on, which made things interesting.  Evan, Matt and Ben were all on as Mormons yesterday, and they were all great.  Special shoutout to Evan whose Elder Poptarts was absolutely adorable.  I loved all the other ensemble Mormons too - Ashley Day, in particular, was fabulous.  I cannot take my eyes off him in Spooky Mormon Hell Dream when he plays Hitler - he's amazing.  We also had Oliver, Thomas and Lucy on for the Africans - they too were all brilliant.

I had a fabulous time - the show just gets better and better each time I see it.  I hope to be down there again soon.

Dan Buckley was on as Cunningham, his 3rd show :)  Tosh Wanogho-Maud was on as The General again, Oliver Lidert was on as Mutumbo again, Evan James was on as Elder Poptarts, Benjamin Brook was on in Dan Mackinlay’s track, Matt Krzan was on in Michael Kent’s track, Thomas Goodridge was on in Terel Nugent’s track,  and I believe, Lucy St Louis was on in Nadine Higgin’s track.
