My brain: What if Suo feels extra guilty about food because when they were younger Rakta and Bacchus went without to make sure Suo ate?
Me: AHHH WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT TO ME?!!!!!
not just the 1-1 friendgroup squad but even Hiragi and Umemiya coming along is hitting me sm bc these aren't just the people that Suo has directly been friends/hanging out with, but also ppl who have barely talked to him and see him as one of their own. it goes against the, probably, more uninvolved hierarchy that Suo is used to (judging by past panel analyses that other users on this platform are much more adept at than me). it forces Suo to acknowledge that this has not just been casual for the entirety of Furin and a simple goodbye without explanation is just not gonna cut it. people at Furin won't even care, they barely knew who you were anyway? literally the leader and the vice leader you're directly under showed up to figure out what's going on. with all the lies you've told, people don't even know the real you? wrong, but also, Hiragi and Umemiya have literally barely heard any of the lies you've told, have mainly seen your actions, and have decided you're someone worth caring for. get cared for, Suo.
Would take care of you, gossip about you during tea time, rage bait you with no reason: Hayato Suo and Shinobu KochÅ, I present.
Imagine them having tea time together, others would think they talked about tea and flowers, when who really know them would know they're talking shit about people with sweet smile and tone.
Shinobu: Did you know they....
Suo: I heard of them, they sure.....
I'm making art of Shinobu KochÅ and Suo Hayato. It gonna be fun drawing them.
"avenging" nirei when nirei initiated that entire fight AND suo tried to cut it short multiple times. i laughed
Really shows how much most of them never really knew Suo, it's like they've suddenly forgotten everything he's done for them, and I'm not blaming Sugishita because truly, I understand that he's angry that Nirei got beat up, he takes Furin very seriously and since Suo is part of another gang he takes this as a direct offense to Furin.
However, it does feel like Nirei and Sakura are the only ones who want to understand why Suo did what he did instead of getting "revenge", at least that we've been shown, I'm willing to believe Kiryu is also in the same "want to understand his reason" boat.
I really need Hiragii and/or Ume to intervene here.
But I do find it quite ironic that Anzai is so on board with this, as if he didn't get beat up by his friend Nagato because the dude wanted to protect him from the gang he'd Involved himself with, and proceeded to defend Nagato tooth and nail from the others, like they didn't include Nagato (a total stranger to them who didn't belong to Furin) under their protection just because he was Anzai's friend, and they're so willing to just go and beat up a person who was not only a Furin member, but literally one of their vice captains, without even bothering to wonder if there's a reason why he did what he did.
Like, Nirei started the confrontation, he started the fight, Suo came to say goodbye simply, it even started really friendly, just a "I'm leaving, I wanted to see you one last time, would you tell the others for me?ā, and although Nirei's reaction makes sense, Suo only got mean when he found himself cornered by Nirei's questions and insistence, and he only got physical when Nirei himself got into a fighting stance and claimed he wasn't going to let him go, like, not even the first punch Nirei threw before that got Suo to get physical, and he tried so hard to leave mid fight... And Nirei did get a hit on Suo as well
They glossed over Nirei's explanation of the events too fast with all the strong emotions they were feeling, this is going to come bite them in the ass
Because suppose they go to Bankoku-Gai with this mindset and they're lucky enough to not get identified as a threat or stopped in their tracks, and they find Suo, what's the plan? Initiate a fight with the officer of a gang that only attacks once they've been attacked themselves, essentially making themselves the target of a 80 y.o organisation, essentially making the situation worse for Suo; start yelling at him that he's an asshole and a traitor and a piece of shit for hurting Nirei and a hundred other assumptions they've made about him? Like that's not going to make him retreat further into himself while also giving him the fuel to tell them "well, you said it, not me, now you can go back to Furin and forget about me".
I think Ume should have a talk with Sakura and Nirei before they actually set off to find Suo, matter of fact, maybe Ume and Hiragii should give the whole class a talk, remind them Suo was one of them and he did a lot for them, so maybe they should try another approach.
I picture that repressed characterāseverely traumatized and seeing situations through a distorted lens. He wants to cry, but itās pointless; he cannot afford to be weakāafter all, what would that change? He longs to scream, to be saved, to be protected, yet he remembers: he was taught that his role was to protect others, not to be the one protected. In the end, the only comfort he can offer himself is to hold himself close amidst his own darkness, loneliness, and pain. As he sleeps, he dreams; he can feel freedomāor at least the sensation of being freeāand the warmth of being held and loved. Upon waking, he feels tears falling. His balcony is right there; he gazes at the beauty of something that, to his eyes, feels nostalgic yet forever out of reach. He sighs and smiles with his eyes closed, concluding with the words:
"One must be patient."
Suo Hayato.
ā ļø TUMBLR SCAM WARNING!!! ā ļø
Just a heads up in case anyone else receives a similar message.
I was recently contacted by someone claiming they had mistakenly reported my account because they believed I was involved in a scam. They later shared a screenshot of what appeared to be a Tumblr support email featuring my username and profile picture.
After looking into it and contacting Tumblr Support, this appears to be a known phishing scam that Tumblr is already aware of.
The scam may involve:
Someone claiming they accidentally reported your account
Screenshots of fake Tumblr emails showing your username/blog
Claims that your account is under investigation, at risk of deletion, or needs to be "verified"
Requests to contact a supposed Tumblr support agent, often on Discord or another platform
If you receive a message like this, please be cautious and do not provide your login information or contact unofficial support accounts.
In my case, another mutual received the exact same message from the same user, which suggests the account may have been compromised and is being used to spread the scam.
If you're unsure whether a message is legitimate, contact Tumblr Support directly through official channels.
Please reblog even if this hasn't happened to you. A mutual and I encountered the same scam account, so there are likely more people receiving these messages.
Please reblog to help spread awareness. Stay safe, everyone. ā¤ļø
Okay, after reading the last chapter, I can tell there's gonna be chaos. Like, half of class(I doubt few of them where allowed to go somewhere that far by their parents or gaurdian) go on an adventure only to realize Suo go to school like this, every single day before dropping out.
They gonna feel or see what Suo go through on that journey, either it going to be boring ride or full on chaos where locals somehow knew him on the way to Bankuko-Gai.
Then if they able to reach there more chaos as half(I think) people of Bankuko-Gai could only speak half good Japanese, like the basic. While the rest is Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese and etc.
Then again, instead of meeting Suo first, they meet his brothers first, Bacchus yelled at them or something, they fight then came the one that who's the main character of this mess, Suo himself. Or Sunfei in Bacchus and Rakta case(the furin would be dumbfounded)
My prediction or whatever you called it, for future updates of Windbreaker.
Imagine a select few guys help Suo resolve his issues, hear him out and make up with him, then persuade him to return to Makochi. But thereās tension between Suo and the others at Furin after he returns. Most havenāt forgiven him, and many have lost all trust in him.
And Suo picks up on that. He stops smiling, stops making jokes, stops being part of the conversations even when heās physically present. He thinks theyāre right to hate him because he hates himself more than anyone. So he doesnāt try to earn their forgiveness. He doesnāt think he should be forgiven. Suo canāt even forgive himself, even knowing the reasons behind his own decisions. So he falls into the habit of distancing himself again, but this time, itās because he thinks thatās what everyone else wants. Suo is hurting. Itās obvious by the vacant look in his eye, the way he spaces out, the complete lack of his usual smile and jokes. Heās isolating himself again, but heās not bothering to mask his true feelings this time. And heās not doing this to make the others feel bad. He genuinely thinks he doesnāt deserve to be close to them anymore. He genuinely thinks they donāt WANT him around anymore. And he believes theyāre right to think that way, so he accepts it.
And the few guys that were there to help him in Bankoku-Gai, they try everything to help Suo be a part of their class again. They try everything to get the others to warm up to Suo again. It comes down to everyone realizing that Suo is now a shell of his former self. Heās wasting away, and heās just letting it happen. And no one at Furin is cruel enough to keep pushing him toward the edge, no matter how angry/upset they feel. They still care about him. They want him back, jokes and all. Itās no easy feat forgiving him for the things he said and did. But the others start by making an effort to listen to Suoās side ā his life in the Red Chanpuru, his reasoning for pushing them away, what happened in Bankoku-Gai.
It takes time and a whole lot of effort. The tension never fully leaves, but the trust returns bit by bit when the others finally start to see the real Suo; when Suo finally allows himself to be seen in his entirety.
I don't know why I did this...Enjoy
Goodnight....
"You have a habit of clinking your teacup down onto the plate a little louder than usual when you're annoyed."
".... Huh?"
"You clench your right hand in a fist and hide it behind your back whenever you're guilty for something or are accused of something."
"Nirei?"
"You sometimes grip the hem of your jacket with your hands whenever you're stressed and have nothing to do."
"Uh, Nirei??"
"And that's just the stuff I see whenever we talk to the people within Furin," Nirei sighs, an expression of exasperation crosses his face as he glanced up at Suo. "Want me to list off the stuff I noticed during training?"
So the new joke theory is that Suo is fleeing bc he has a crazy stalker but the stalker is Nirei? š
In the spirit of whatever the hell is gonna happen tomorrow, I love how this scene reinforces Sakura and Suo's bond
I love this specific moment because while everyone else was trying to encourage and motivate Sakura, which is always nice don't get me wrong, Suo was the one person to point out Sakura's blindspot. He wasn't trying to put him down or discourage him, but he noticed something that would bring Sakura trouble in the upcoming fight of unaddressed, and didn't hesitate to let him know.
And despite how Kiryu, Tsuge and Nirei all protested, Sakura himself wasn't mad. He didn't scream or threaten to fight Suo like he would have done in the beginning of the manga. Instead, he trusted Suo enough to know he wasn't saying that to be mean or pick a fight; he trusted his vice captain's assessment and knew that if Suo said something, it was because there was something there to be worked on, to be improved on.
And you can see in Suo's smile that he's glad Sakura didn't take it badly and was instead willing to listen to his advice. And Sakura DID listen, and during the clash on the bridge, that helped him!!!
Just, Suo paying Sakura enough attention to notice all this things about him, how his way of fighting has its benefits and it's disadvantages, and isn't scared to point it out to his captain to help him along. And Sakura, who knows Suo enough to understand he isn't just teasing him but trying to give him honest advice, and taking it to heart.
SAKURA GO GET YOUR VICE CAPTAIN BACK YOU NEED HIS UNBIASED AND OBJECTIVE ADVICE, EVERYONE ELSE IS EITHER TOO NICE OR NOT OBSERVANT ENOUGH TO GIVE IT TO YOU STRAIGHT LIKE YOU SOMETIMES NEED!!!
Tumblr are my best friend out of many social media I used. Able to express my interest without care in the world. As you see in my description I'm Suo Hayato Bias. Yes I am. 100%.
I do have others interested in other characters but in here my main are mostly Suo, so you won't be surprised I talk and draw about him most. My beautiful darling boy~
But don't worry, I don't have the heart to shit on other people favorite or any other characters. It's either I loved them, like them, disliked or neutral about them but never hate on them.
Well, I'm sad. I love Sakura, Nirei, everyone but Suo always have special place in my heart. So please, next chapter I need to see him or I'll just cry of impatient and pain for him
But right now, I'll just delusional with my theory...
Oh many scenarios could happen while the Furin gang helping Sakura get to his feet again and healing. Stay healthy Sakura~ stay strong.
Anywho, my theory for next chapter or just my delusional expectations.
ā¢A child suo, in black space, looking down at his most love one on the floor with hollow eyes. Next panel is present Suo, eye hollows as he look down at a grave.
ā¢Suo sitting down, calm and quiet as wind gently swaying. The panel get bigger and show he's sitting at the edge of the rooftop where he always watching the town or the moon. How many attempt but stop because of responsibility he still had, a job that he yet haven't dealt with, the guilty of leaving everything to Bacchus and Rakta...
Or someone can read a fics about Suo-centric, I'd love to read it.
Sometimes, I think writing any Suo fic would be easier if he were just someone who opened up, except that removes the whole appeal. But sometimes I write a section and then end up deleting it because no, Suo would never just admit to that; he just has to drag it out. He would rather get hit by a bus than communicate directly.
My little oneshot is no longer little. At all. And it's all his fault. It's become two series and a sequel. I don't have time in my schedule to be writing any of this. But I love SuNiSa too much to care; it's probably okay if I ignore work to plan out a cute proposal and marriage fic.
This is how my first Suo fic got to 40 chapters and it's ongoing, like, the level of catastrophic things have to become for Suo to not be able to put a mask on anymore is insane, so here we areš
I KNOW THIS ISNT GONNA HAPPEN BUT WALK WITH ME
If the two dudes we saw last chapter with Suo are actually his brothers, I'm HOPING they do their best to not let Suo go. Not because of red Chanpuru being a very cult like group, in a 'the only way out is DEATH' way, which I hope it isn't the case, but because THAT'S THEIR BABY BROTHER
I'm an oldest sister and if my little siblings did all the shit suo got up to in Makochi, being a part of a different, unregulated gang (where he doesn't have the protection that a position of power offers, like he has in RC), and I saw a group of angry teenagers chomping at the bit to take them back to said gang, which is also located ON A DIFFERENT CITY, yeah I wouldn't passively let them. I'd fucking tear a bitch apart.
I want the exchange to happen like:
The entirety of Furin: RELEASE HIM!!! GIVE HIM BACK TO US!!!!
Older brother 1: YOU ARE NEVER TAKING HIM AWAY!!
Furin: WHY NOT????!!!???
Older brother 2: because he's three apples tall and refuses to eat broccoli unless you make him, we need him supervised!
Older brother 1: last time we left him to his own devices he lost an eye. What's next? A leg? A lung?
Older brother 2: it literally took years off my lifespan when he told me he had joined Furin. A gang with NO adult backing, NO money, NO regulations, NOTHING. He's a BABY, what do you mean you want him back in a place so fucked up the POLICE refuse to go???
I don't think we talk enough about the fact that, as far as we know, Suo is the youngest sibling.
