Worth mentioning that behind the Sea Snake (Corlys Velaryon) Ormund Hightower is probably the wealthiest lord in Westeros. The Hightowers are OLD money, they have been collecting trade fees and taxes in the biggest port on that continent for centuries upon count. The Velaryons are of good Valyrian breeding, but their money is new, it’s solely based on the Sea Snake’s daring trading journeys. Anyway, this is a long way of saying that’s why Ormund is dressed that bougie and clearly brought half of the wealth of the Reach with him. Rhaenyra, by contrast, is much more reluctant to throw her children into the war.
