SO. UHM. initial feeling is that I KNEW I NEEDED THE ENTIRE SEASON BEFORE VOICING AN OPINION

also i need to say that i am feeling like s2 and s3 are mirror images of themselves, storytelling-wise, in the way s2 literally tells you in episode ONE how the entire season is gonna go, and s3 doesn't give you SHIT until you reach the last episode and only THEN do you properly piece it together what it's about.

i KNEW it i fucking knewwwwww anyway i still need to binge watch the entire season at least once and then do all seasons back to back and i have no fucking idea when i'll have the time for that kdbfjdkskshf

(this post is about the new TVL season so ig a spoiler warning but i don't think there's any actual spoilers)

i would like it on record that i am currently very unsure what to think about the tvl season. i haven't watched the last two episodes yet because i haven't felt up to it. currently my driving force is literally watching assad in it (i'm also watching portofino currently) ((i'm predictable in falling for acters and then i binge their entire filmography)) (((pls give assad a romcom role i'm begging y'all why are my favorites never in romcoms. anyway)))

i'm gonna watch the last two episodes tonight and then i'll probably binge the entire season at once before forming a proper opinion. i still think i need the whole story before i can form an opinion. but the thing is, that even with the first two seasons of iwtv, it took me until i had seen s2 to actually start appreciating it. i was a bit unsure about s1, and then s2 fucking sold it to me. i'm a little worried people are not liking s3 and then it'll get canceled and we WON'T get the whole story, since rolin's said tvl will be cut into two parts similar to iwtv.

anyway i am still in the dark about any news or opinions or theories, i've only had brief peeks at comments where people are not enjoying the new season and it's worrying me. because i'm not sure what to think yet either. i'm not sure if i like it, but that's more about the creative decisions they've made. i miss the actual interview frame of the first two seasons. i think i like clear and clean concepts like that. tvl has SO MANY layers of storytelling that it's making my head spin. there's the failures audio, there's the interview, there's the present and the past... what i do hope is that it doesn't get canceled because i NEED the whole story before i can say anything properly. i need to like. write a 10k+ word analysis or something to clear my head.
