since it’s pride month, throwback to this beautiful cover and this wholesome interaction between two icons
y'all i cannot even summon an apology for this one
I keep getting referred to with male terms again and again, and it’s starting to wear me down in a way that’s hard to explain without sounding dramatic. Every time it happens there’s this split-second sting like I’m being pulled back into something I’m actively trying to move away from.
And as much as I want to correct people in the moment, I hesitate. Not because I don’t want to be seen properly, but because I don’t want to become that person in everyone’s mind, the “actually it’s ma’am” stereotype that gets turned into a joke or an inconvenience. I don’t want correction to be the only way I’m remembered in a room.
So I end up stuck in this quiet middle ground, where I swallow it down and carry on, even though it builds up over time. It’s exhausting, balancing the need to be acknowledged for who I am with the fear of how I’ll be perceived if I speak up too much.
Table Top Transition
Well that’s relatable as fuck lol.
My first dnd character was a canonically transfem tiefling. And all my other pcs were girls or eggs.
I figured it out eventually lol.
Me who always plays as a changing bard, swapping between my fem voice and "guy" voice just to mess with the table.
it's rest your hand on her soft penis thursday
forgotten middle child syndrome the number 68 stuck between her funny number siblings 67 and 69. is this anything.
take me down to catgirl city where the boys are girls and the girls are kitty.
we’re so lucky that gilgamesh survived and is a banger. can you imagine if we found the oldest written human story ever recorded and it sucked balls.
im bad to argue with because i have jesters blood if you misintepret me i'll just go along with it. when i was a teenager i was trying to explain the concept of the heterosexual default to someone and they were like "so you think everyone should become bisexual?" and i was like. what the hell sure. lets have legally enforced bisexuality. i'll die on a hill for the bit dont fuck with me.
I legitimately think the first video game to ever say the word "bisexual" out loud was Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. There is a nonzero chance it was actually the first video game to print "bisexual" in a text format.
It is very possible that the first video game character to ever say the word "Bisexual" out loud was Solid Snake.
Based on what I found, the first ever bisexual character in a video game was Curtis Craig from Phantasmagoria 2 (1996) but I have yet to find out if he says the word "bisexual" in the scene where this is revealed
He does not. He says he's attracted to his male best friend but he never says the word "bisexual."
The first ever character to ever correctly and overtly identify a person as bisexual was Solid Snake in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (2001)
I once again have to point out for those who've never played mgs2 he says this when asked if another character that goes by the name of vamp is a vampire
Everyone here who hasn’t yet needs to see how fucking incredible this whole conversation is.
Snake: “He was at church when a bomb went off, got pierced by a crucifix, survived by drinking his family’s blood.”
Raiden: “So that’s why he’s called Vamp?”
Snake: “No it’s because he’s bisexual.”
person typing into google search bar: obfuscate meaning
google ai overview: Understood! From now on, all meaning will be hidden from you, and you'll be forced to wade through the dreary vastness. Whether it's things you've always held dear, or new ideas you've yet to discover, nothing will make sense or appear to have any real value. This could be the beginning of a fascinating journey!
