There are also a few great Korean transfemme films like -

Jane (2016/7) deals with a trans woman named Jane that takes in a group of runaways and the ways in which the Korean society turns both low-income kids and trans women into the society’s underclass. Told in a series of flashbacks and flashfowards, the movie is very confusing on first watch, but incredibly rewatchable as you keep finding new things to look at in each scenes.

The Weight (2013) - TW for a ton of stuff, including but not limited to adopted sibling incest and potentially sexual assault. This is a very challenging watch, but I’ve never felt more… seen? represented? in the ways in which, well, the weight of being transfemme sometimes feels when the society at large is determined to make you feel dysphoric. It’s very challenging, but it’s a great movie chock full with both visual metaphors for transness and explicit transgender representation.

Sisters on the Road (2008) - Is one of the few movies where transgender-as-a-plot-twist is not entirely insensitive. The ways in which the sisteres come to realize that the “best friend” (referred to them as auntie) that lived with their single mother also provided the sperm for their birth by contextualizing the happenings in their childhood without pathologizing the woman is genuinely heartwarming.

And not as great one on rewatch:

Like a Virgin (2006) - was a movie made in the in-between period of Korean public consciousness’ lack of understanding of differing LGBT+ identities and the more public reckoning with this lack of knowledge. Just as how it was true in Japan that if you were to say, “Gay,” in its English pronounciation (so 게이/ゲイ), they were actually thinking of trans women until recently, the show very much so treats being trans as a subset of being gay, and assumes that all transfemininity also comes with straightness. Still, the movie is notable in that the writing of the script was overseen by a trans woman.

I don’t have the link to these (since I would have to also provide them with subtitles and I really realy don’t have that), but if you can track them down, the first 3 are worth watching.

the Brown Bag of Plenty

The Brown Bag of Plenty looks like an ordinary brown paper sack lunch. Once per day, a PC may use it to provide a healthy and nutritious lunch to each member of the party. All lunches consist of the following (with substitutions for allergies and other dietary restrictions):

One peanut butter (or other nut butter in case of allergy) and jelly sandwich on wheat bread. Type of jam is randomized, with grape and strawberry most common. Sandwich will be cut diagonally.

One juice box, also randomized.

One bunch green grapes

One packet carrot sticks

One packet crunchy snack food (most commonly potato chips, but flavors are randomized and other types of chips, crackers, veggie puffs, popcorn, etc are also possible)

One packet cookies (most commonly chocolate chip or Oreo-like sandwich cookie)

Eating a lunch from the Brown Bag of Plenty will restore 1d6 hit points for each item consumed. This effect will not take place unless the fresh fruit and vegetables are eaten — i.e., eating the cookies alone will have no effect, but after eating the grapes and carrot sticks 3d6 hit points may be restored.

If the PC enters a body of water within 45 minutes of consuming a lunch from the Brown Bag of Plenty, they will lose 1d6 hit points for each item consumed.

In addition to providing 1 healthy lunch per character per day, the Brown Bag of Plenty will also dispense orange slices (2 per PC) after combat, with the same 1d6 effect as its lunches.
