It ended the timeloop the two were aware of and stuck in basically. That's at least how I explain them not being able to die. They can age but basically respawn after 3 days in the same spot, dead or not.

What if kedamono got dragged into a mundane office job to make money when they live together in the city as Dr Popee is just losing sleep to build and plan Phaeton alongside unwillingly babysitting jr when he don’t gaf. Imagine Dr Popee having to take jr everywhere with him when he buys supplies for the lab and he hates it and doesn’t understand how wolf babies work nor does he want anything to do with it: he just views it as Keda’s problem not his own.

WHAT IF IN THE CITY THERE ARE OTHER FURRIES MASKING THEMSELVES AS HUMAN TOO OR EMBRACE IT AND THAT’S WHAT HAD KEDAMONO DRAWN TO THE CITY IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Kedamono JR encuentra una foto donde estaba siendo acompañado con sus viejos amigos, entre ellos, Kedamono quien ha estado muerto hace más de 5 años. Es ahí donde Popee le cuenta de cómo se enamoró de Kedamono y cómo comenzó su historia de ellos dos como algo más que amigos...💜🩷

Kedamono Jr. finds a photo of himself with his old friends, including Kedamono, who has been dead for over five years. That's where Popee tells her how he fell in love with Kedamono and how their story began as something more than friends...💜🩷

FUAAAAAAAAAAAAAA WE'RE BACK, GUYS 🗣 I've wanted to show some scenes for quite some time now, scenes that will be more important later on. Yes, yes, yes, I know some people will be wondering, "IS KEDAMONO DEAD?!!! 😭" The simplest answer is, no, at least not entirely. This is a little promotion for the AU. As I've mentioned before, I've been thinking about doing another live stream to draw three participants from the AU event. I'm still planning a day when everyone feels free, and especially... when I'm free to start XD

Well, with all that said, it's possible to start working on the chapter again. I've been wanting to compose original music, so if we fall behind on this chapter (again...), it might be because of that, but I'm not sure. With all that said, thanks for watching :)

Oooo rambling about Kedamono being potential representation for neurodivergency that also goes into personal shit briefly ooooo

Thinking about Kedamono and his struggles with social interactions, hell, even the mere idea of being perceived by others makes me sick to my stomach. As a person and once a child that has had to swallow my needs in order to please other people around me, and sweep under the rug my own identity, it just hurts how much I relate to him. It's mostly tied to how my autism was handled, by my parents saying that "it's good to be different!" while actively avoiding other adults saying that I should get diagnosed for autism. I knew from a very young age that I was different, and every time I was met with that phrase, but no explanation as to why it's good.

Masking fucking sucks. Especially when you don't know why you're doing it. Keda does it because it was pushed on to him. Maybe it was pushed on to him by his mother, maybe by Papi, but what's factual is that this never came from him. What we do know for a fact is that he kept "Kedamono" as his name because it's tradition in his family for the sons to have this name. Another fact is his appearance: Keda only covers his face but his beast-like behaviour is still noticeable, his fur sticks out, his tail wags, his teeth are easily seen, his paws and claws are exposed. He doesn't fully get it. But he has to wear those masks because he looks like his mother.

Personality-wise, Kedamono is spineless: he has a lot of care for Popee but doesn't go out of his way to help. He usually makes things worse, either by trying to help, or by prioritizing his own survival.

He also carries a lot of resentment towards the rabbit, for the way he treats him, but he never shows it fully. He tiptoes around his feelings instead of being direct like Popee. On top of that, he also tends to explode when he is fed up with bullshit, but he also swallows a lot of his resentment and manifests it when he is alone.

Either way, Kedamono even masks his personality. It isn't his identity fully but he is getting there.
