Okay, so I follow you on Spotify. You made a Half-Life VR playlist and it's absolute fuckin heat. It had some overlap with a character playlist I made for Deacon's role in my FO4 fanfic (we both had some Jet Set Radio Future/Once In A Lifetime by the Talking Heads) and I took some entries from your playlist and used them in mine. I really wanted to hit a rent-lowering gunshot, serious/unserious whiplash with Deacon's playlist. If it was any other platform, it would have been really easy to toss some Soundcloud/Bandcamp mashup era classics and 2mello's old anime work in there. I'm really picky about trying to get the right feel in my playlists and Deacon's is the one I've gone back to tinker with the most. Anyway sorry for the random ask but thanks for helping me with the playlist!

So so glad I could be a source of inspiration for your Deacon playlist (which I will be ABSOLUTELY checking out rn) I take great pride in curating my Spotify playlists, especially the goofy ones like I did for HLVRAI, and making sure all the songs fit the theme and tone of whatever they cover very closly, so I’m very glad it slotted in so well for yours! There's Mermaids which is always a great option, and then Scotland-specific there's LGBT Youth Scotland, to give you just a couple. There will absolutely be more that other people can suggest though!

A couple I donate to: TransAid Cymru, to support Welsh trans people, and The Outside Project, which helps queer people in London struggling with homelessness (and as trans people make up a disproportionately large number of unhoused people, it feels very relevant.)

Goes without saying, but don't donate to Pride Cymru, because they're complete shit.
