Yes, so, I have had some experiencing hiding money from housemates for reasons i won’t divulge! I’ve tried a few ways, the most effective being either in the pages of books or notebooks, in between folded clothes, and in the back of drawers. (You can also sew a secret pocket at the bottom of your bag, if you had the skill and materials)

It’s best to keep the money separated, too, so that even if one hiding spot is found out, the rest would be safe. A ‘decoy’ spot is good too, where you keep the smallest amount you can without it being suspicious.

I used to cycle between different books and notebooks, too, though be careful, because that might lead to some confusion after a while. I know there was a time i found some money in an old diary because i forgot i had put it there.

Maaaaaate I just watched all of The Hollow because I saw you had and damn that was fun. Like, it ain't a show that's gonna win any awards but the characters and the dynamics and just the ridiculousness of it all (ignoring the ending which I'm still hmmmm over) So really just a massive TY for the suggestion

It is a little ridiculous in places, but it’s fun! You get to love the characters, and the action and world feels fun but not overwhelming. It’s easy to binge and easy to enjoy. And I really wish there was a bigger fandom for this show. Hopefully, season 2 will see a boost in the Hollow’s ao3 page
