Amdusias took the Hoof in one hand and gently inspected it for any overgrowth, dirt or damage

There was no damage, surprisingly. One would expect walking the streets of Hell would have at least cracked them somewhat, but no, they were in perfect health.

The hoof was slightly overgrowth, going from it’s usual soft curved heart angel shape to a sharper more demonic point. As for dirt or grime, they were rather dirty but that was to be expected when the Angel wasn’t even properly shoed for trudging through the rings.

Hell (ha) it appeared some small Imp had even taken a moment of the massive Empress not paying attention to write some graffiti on the side of his hoof. Hopefully it would come off easily.

“Well? What do you think?”

"Well," rumbled Amdusias as he set the Hoof onto his bent knee and reached for a bucket of soapy water and a sponge, "No damage, no disease, you just need a light trim and maybe a protective clear coat over top."

He offers the angel a thumbs up, "I'm really proud of you for keeping them this nice under these conditions, the other hooves I see have sole ulcers and white line defects out the metaphorical ass but you're doing just fine."

He gently washes Somnus' Hoof with bubblegum scented suds, trying to scrub off the graffiti as thoroughly as possible.

Aria whispered something into Ami’s ear, making him snort and smile.

Every tooth in his mouth was wickedly sharp, with his fangs glinting gold among them as he spoke, his voice the rumble of a thunderstorm.

“Aria thinks you’re pretty.” He fumbles around in his back pocket before handing Clem a business card that looks ridiculously tiny in his huge hand, “And yes you can… help I mean, I’m looking for places to hang flyers, know any good spots?”

The card is crisp, gold lettering on nice black cardstock with the words “Groom & Gloom Imp Grooming & Salon” written in over a little picture of an Imp skull with a pair of scissors overlapping a hairbrush like crossbones beneath it, and contact information on the back.

“I’m trying to get the word out, draw in new customers,” he stands, knees popping like gunshots, “Speaking of, if you ever want anything done hit me up and I’ll take care of you for free.”

Clem accepted the card, turning it in her hands with a raised bow. A free service for her? Her red flags were going off. “If you’re after imp clients I recommend advertising in Imp City, but its pretty weird you’re all for giving me a free service. Feels shifty… no offense.”

Given her background maybe he was somehow connected to Butch, after all her old guardian hadn’t reared his head in some time.

He opens his mouth to speak, only for Aria to whisper something else into his ear.

Amdusias pauses and frowns, "Didn't mean any disrespect kid, but you know how it is with marketing." He stretches, arms over his head, joints crackling like lightning, "Gotta give folks samples so they know your product is good, you don't gotta take me up on my offer if you don't want to..."

He rubs the back of his neck awkwardly, clearly unsure of how to actually talk to people.

Aria pats the top of his head as if to say 'there there you dumb bitch' before hopping off his shoulders and over to Clem.

The strange pale creature points first at Clem's hooves, then her own. Aria's are painted gold, like Ami's, and match her acrylic claws.

She poses and models, gesturing at Ami as of to say 'He does great work I promise, he just sucks at talking.'

May I ask how horn shaping / trimming works?

Absolutely!!! Here's some of my tips and wisdom.

If horns are trimmed the same way hair or nails are, is there any kinda service for styling horns? I'm curious to see what it would look like

Your horns are keratin just like your hair and nails! And just like hair and nails lot's of people need them semi-regularly managed for comfort or aesthetic reasons!

If you're ever experiencing discomfort from your horns (like a crick in your neck or similar ache) that counts as a medical procedure and you can usually get your doctor to do it for free! But for anything aesthetic like horn shaping you should go to a farrier.
