So, surprise second release this year from Mastodon! We’re getting the Cold Dark Place EP this month after Brent hinted at it earlier in the year! I’m pretty damn excited. This song is extremely my shit. It’s very Mastodon, got all those trademark sounds I’ve come to expect, but it’s a little more mellow at times. It fits the album art (which is also fucking awesome, for the record). The whole EP is Brent’s material, so I’m interested to hear what the rest of it sounds like.
