Minecraft bedrock is such a weird thing cus like. What do you mean you're making a port of the game on console that's ALSO on PC AND you completely change how a bunch of the engine and gameplay works for no reason?? Why??? Like it totally baffles me, esp cus so many of the changes are totally abritrary and Could Easily Be Consistent With Java, but just. Aren't. Like who the fuck is making decisions over there

A number of the notes are talking about more fundamental things but I think the more interesting part is the very trivial decisions that aren't consistent with Java for no clear reason. Like, why do most mobs in Bedrock have slightly different hitbox sixes? A carpet stops a zombie in JE but not BE, because someone just took a guess at the numbers without checking I guess?

i think its interesting that a lot of people took chapter 5 as evidence that krusielle cant be a thing when i didnt actively ship it until this chapter. kris and susie making a heart to show noelle. kris being able to flirt with susie during the castle conversation about her and noelles relationship. the way susie looks at kris as she enters the closet at the end. susie thinking kris and noelle were a couple when she first got to town. like...the evidence in this chapter alone is overwhelming

I think my ideal Krusielle dynamic is one where Kris and Noelle both spend way too long thinking they are the pathetic third wheel interfering in a perfectly good relationship and meanwhile Susie is just like this the entire time

The thing that really gets me about Krusielle is how Susie has so much love to give to both Kris and Noelle (and obviously Ralsei but this post ain't about her) and both are equally as important to her, yet Kris and Noelle really want to be Susie's special person, so there is a lot of longing and jealousy feelings that are clearly trying to be repressed. In Noelle's case this is something you can see in the scene at the festival when Susie tells her about her one-on-one time with Kris at the diner, while with Kris is more subtle but you can see this, for example, in the final scene of this chapter — Susie talking about how what they have is so special and intimate but that Noelle needs to join. And of course, Susie does not do this on purpose, she just loves having friends that want her around (she's literally that one meme of HOLY SHIT TWO [three] CAKES!!!), but what she doesn't get is that the way she expresses this is upsetting her friends a bit. Both Kris and Noelle long to be wanted by people — they are insecure teenagers that really want to be someone's special person, their number one if you will, but this idea kind of goes against Susie's nature of loving everyone.
