I can’t get over how funny it is that ‘the Council distrusted Obi-Wan’ and ‘the Council felt he was tOo aTtAchED’ and ‘they still had misgivings over him being a Jedi because of his childhood in JA’ and ‘they didn’t like that he was taught by Qui-Gon’ are like, actual fanons, that exist in the fandom, that are semi-regularly seen in fics. 

They PUT HIM on the Council. He basically becomes one of the ‘top three’ with Mace and Yoda despite being the youngest. There isn’t a single Jedi that we ever see in the movies or TCW who dislikes Obi-Wan lmao. He’s the Force’s gift to the Order. The Council spends the whole RotS novelization like: 🥰🥰🥰 and “have you seen our (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*✲ﾟ*｡⋆ ✨son✨”
