Not sure why I can't leave a comment, so I'll just reblog this.

1. Fetchlands in an affordable fashion so that the entire player base can have access to them. All ten in one drop for $50 seems fair, but if it needs to be Allied/Enemy...please still price it to be affordable.

2. Imperial Seal. This is one of the most expensive nonreserve list cards, and is quite useful in Commander. If the secondary market is to be considered, this can be a standalone card...but again, please not more than $50.

3. The original Eldrazi titans featuring a full art panorama. Not testless, just full art.

4. Urborg, Cabal Coffers, and maybe some Swamps. Cabal Coffers is overdue for a reprint, and it would be cool to see it paired with Urborg. Matching artist/style or a panorama would be a nice touch as well.

MTG GORE ! :: Be Warned

Magic: The Gathering commentator Marshall Sutcliffe had Pro Tour Historian Brian David-Marshall on his MTG Breakdown show back in the summer to show off an amazing piece of game history: video of a Magic tournament from Saturday, November 12, 1994 in the Ball Room at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City.  Video linked right here.  One can see mullets, acid-wash jeans, and of course a large number of what is now rather rare and expensive cards.  The video was not only very entertaining but informative as well.

The ‘Gore’ starts around 16:45 with some riffle / bridge shuffles - THE GOLD - Marshall Sutcliffe‘s reaction … . considering that a Black Lotus may have fetched around $20 or $30 bucks back then (if that), now command a price of up to $8,000 (prices obviously very rough).
