Kelvin Twistspur struggles with the limitations of Charr society. The Iron Legion marches on into the fields of technological advancement with an unstoppable cadence, but Kelvin's aware one group has the Iron Legion beat, and always has.

The Asura.

Kelvin doesn't want to shovel her genius into the endless fires of weaponry and war. Kelvin wants to stand at the very frontier of technological discovery.

Plus, she'd get along with the Asura much better, right? They're all geniuses. Like her. They wouldn't give her side-glances for spending time on her hair. They wouldn't push her to dull their wits with drinking. They'd want to stand with her at the edge of discovery and peel back the layers of the universe.

They'd just have to look past everything that makes her a Charr.

Collection of shots taken of Goldy Gunfins in the Ruins of Orr, fighting against the elder dragon Zhaitan's corruption. Goldy is currently the only active Quaggan in the armed war effort. While aid in the means of food and medical supplies have been graciously donated by Quaggan villages or Quaggan residents of Lion's Arch and Quaggan have stepped up to serve supporting nonviolent roles in The Pact, Goldy is currently the only Quaggan pact member on the fields of war.

No but for serious, I actually developed a functioning play-style for playing as a Quaggan, 24/7. Goldy Gunfins is a real character of mine, and I play her across all basegame maps (occasionally expansion.) She’s got her own lore too.

In contrast to most Quaggan, Goldy uses singular personal pronouns like 'Me' and 'I,' and it symbolizes the separation she has from the rest of Quaggan kind.

For those unaware of Quaggan lore, Quaggan traditionally forego personal pronouns, referring to themselves only as ‘Quaggan’ as a sign of unity and selflessness, and doing otherwise is seen as selfish.

Goldy finds the use of personal pronouns necessary to mark that she has left Quaggan society and now must serve as an individual acting to protect that society.

She’ll occasionally still use ‘Quaggan’ around unfamiliar peers because it is expected and raises fewer questions.
