I am currently accepting submissions for my student film Homespun! This is a voice acting/composing opportunity for anyone interested. I am looking for two voice actors, and one composer. Please share this link with anyone who might be interested!
Hi everybody! The voice actor positions have been filled, but I am still looking for a composer. I've extended out the deadline to October 19th.
Currently boarding the first scene for my film Homespun. Quick warning, there are loud noises in the beginning (thunder).

Model sheets for my main characters Minerva and Arachnus are done, keep an eye out for more work!
It's been a while! Good news, I passed my junior year and am now working on research for my SGA (senior graduate film). Due to work and life in general I haven't been able to complete Love At Sea yet, but the plan is to finish it by the end of the summer or by the end of next year.
Meanwhile, enjoy some motion studies for my SGA, currently titled "Homespun." This will feature a half humanoid, half spider character named Minerva Spinner, who is trying to find a safe home for herself and her child.
My current research project is a study of spider movement. Since most of my effort has been on my film, that means I haven't gotten the opportunity to do more studies like this, which I plan to remedy soon.
And here we are! Halfway thru the semester, I have about 25 seconds of animation done, meaning I have about 65 seconds remaining. I'm confident I can complete that in the time allotted.
20 seconds! I’m almost 1/4 of the way there (at least with rough animation)
Had to do some trimming, but the animatic is done! I'm so excited to jump headfirst into animating.
I've been doing more research into internships after learning how valuable they can be--especially when i finding connections in the industry.
And it gets even longer! Now starting to incorporate "chapter 2" of the film.
Still having issues with speed, but I've added on the intro to my animatic, heavily inspired by the intro sequence from Adventure Time.
Act One Animatic of my junior film, Love At Sea, featuring my original characters Doc and Jetty. I definitely want to slow down the shots more as I progress.
The designs for the characters in my junior film, "Love At Sea." Doc meets Jetty and falls head over fins in love with him, but due to his own low self esteem he self-sabotages so there isn't a chance of him getting hurt. Keep an eye out for more!
I've been returning to blender recently. The awesome thing about grease pencil is how you can move the drawing like an object, so you can do tracking for a walk cycle (or swim cycle) all in the same program. One animator I look up to is Ian Worthington, and I hope to one day have a command of Blender like he does.
