harley kingsley : thread one
Harley laughed with pure glee at his words. “I have never heard it spoken truer than just that,” she smirked, peering to him over her glass with a soft smile. She recognized the look in his eyes, he was hungry, they all were, the hunger never left you just got better at hiding it. “Yes, besides, it’s fun to play with your food, I always find myself enjoying a little pleasure before desert, at least they die happy,” she grinned just a bit. She was a product of the dark side of the supernatural, and she never would hide it, it was nature and she was at the top of the food chain. “They really do, I found myself a week with out food, that was one of the only times I never got to have a bit of fun before eating, poor guy didn’t know what hit him,” she licked her lips, all the talk was making her hungry again, tapping the counter she ordered another glass. “Warm it please,” she nodded to the bartender.
He licked his lips at the thought. Min hadn’t truly played with anything in a long time. He was always holding back, afraid to let that part of him out. “I haven’t properly fed in a few decades,” he said. He left out the part where he had fallen in love with a human only to be her demise. “I try to live a pretty boring life,” he admitted. “Less complications...but lately...I’ve been questioning it all. If trying to tame this darker side is really worth it.” He spun his drink in his hand slowly when it came. Swallowing hard as he licked his lips once more, wanting nothing more than to drink the soothing liquid. However, he knew that it was not going to really fill his hunger. Hungrily he drank, not caring if a bit spilled out ran down his fair skin. “Another please,” he said as he put the glass down. “Not as good as a fresh human, but I guess it fills the hunger,” he said.

“I don’t know about cool, still a little bit awkward,” she smiled softly. Biting her lip as she blushed, looking down. “Thank you,” she whispered. “Oh– uh, my father had books well over a thousand years old, but I wasn’t allowed to touch them because the were rare and fragile, but something close to five-hundred. It was a book on spells, and there was another a bit older with fae herbs and such used for different remedies,” she smiled softly, looking back to him. “Uh– if you want, I can text you my address when we get back to the house. So you have it,” she smiled weakly. “I am, but I’m interested in winning the game, I’d like to find my pair,” she whispered. Walking a bit closer to him as her head ducked down. Hugging her books tighter.
“That sounds like they would be a fascinating read. I’m not one for herbs and remedies, not a lot of need for them, but I think they’d be interesting to learn about. I take it you’ve read them?” he asks. “Maybe you could teach me a thing or two. I promise I’m a good student,” Min smiled at her. A soft smile that he had only shown itself for two other people; it was loving and kind. “I think...I think I’d just like to find a friend.” He sighed softly. “I have a lot of...darkness that I’m not sure anyone could see past. Then again, one of the good things about the show is that there are others who share similar stories.” He looked down embarrassed. “Ah, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to get all dark,” he admitted. He rubbed the back of his neck, playing with his hair. “I guess you are just...oh gosh this is going to sound like a pickup line, but I swear it isn’t,” he said a bit flustered. “You are very easy to talk to.”

vittoria : thread one
✴︎ — Vittoria shook her head, “ don’t worry about it ! I haven’t been ice skating since around, 1570 maybe ? ” She laughed, shrugging.
“Really? Wow, maybe you should give me a few pointers. I haven’t skated in a long while,” he said with a soft smile.
jackson stone : thread one
If it weren’t for the ridiculous hunt for ridiculous items (because, quite honestly, Jackson found the entire event to be juvenile), the vampire would be anywhere but here. But alas, a fellow teammate insisted, and to the rink they went. He was ignoring the concept of actually participating in skating when another form came crashing into him. The fault was equally his own, after all he had been careless of his surroundings, but that didn’t stop his initial outburst, muttering, “Piss off.” It took a moment after the collision for recognition to slowly set in, and while his features softened in slight at the realization, it wasn’t long before his expression was transforming with disapproval. “Huh. Imagine that… It’s the human-loving wanker.”
Min’s charming smile quickly faded as Jack’s words reached his ears. “You are the last person I’d expect to find here.” He hissed. Min didn’t get upset often, but Jack knew how to push his buttons. His past love had been human, a fact only a few knew about. Min didn’t love humans, he thought they were pathetic ― nothing more than a meal ― however, she was different. She was the only creature that had really understood him. “Don’t talk about her Jack,” he growled.
LEONARDO DE WOLF : THREAD ONE
Flipping pages took almost no concentration. He shrugged as the pages flipped. “That’s true then. I’m not sure how your hunger will be quenched by reading, though.”
Min had been able to avoid feeding too frequently, but he was now made aware how much he longed for a fresh feed. “Hmm, if I think about it, the hunger that is, nothing subsidies it.” For a moment his voice had an alarming about of hunger on the surface. He looked at the stranger as if in a trance. “Maybe, I should just feed...” Off to his left, someone dropped a book, pulling him out of his thoughts. “Ehm, I mean go to the bar to get some blood.” he shrugged. “It just helps me to ignore that side of myself for a while.”
ophelia lange : thread two
“You’re not wrong.” She agrees with a nod. “You light the real night life then, huh? Are you a club-goer too?” Ophelia smiles a bit before she accidentlly ends up shocking herself in passing. “Stars are more than just space.. They dance and sing.”
“No...clubs tend to have too much temptation. I’m not always known for my self-control,” he said with a soft sigh. “The only reason why I’ve made it this far is probably because I removed myself from most temptations.” He listened to how she talked about the stars. He looked up. “Perhaps, I’ve just lost the ability to see them sing and dance.”
carter jones : thread one
“But wouldn’t it not be one of ours?” He asks curiously. “I thought it was all hidden.”
"True...but what if they are hidden in plain sight?” He commented. “I’ve never been very good at finding...”
elizabeth fitzroy : thread one
“You seem to be doing fine! Don’t put yourself down, love,” she smiled skating back further, with a soft giggle. “I know, because I’d come to help you up!” She jested back. “Or worse you’d fall with me,” she grinned just a bit at the fondness of the memory. “It’s a delicious smell, I myself am finding it hard to behave,” She mused, her smile only growing. “I know, Minny, I know, but you know I am all too forgiving in all things,” she tapped his nose just a bit before turning and skating away towards a wall, humming softly as she looked behind her to see if he was following.
He smiled gleefully at her words, happy that she didn’t think he was uncool for not recognizing her. He followed her slowly gaining confidence in his skating abilities. “Ellie, you’re going to have to keep me under control.” He almost stumbled and clawed at the air for a moment before regaining his balance. “Aish, that would have been bad.” he laughed. “I think it is because I’ve been under the rock for the past few decades that being around faes and other nice smelling things is making it very difficult for me to behave. Remember when I tried to rebel and tormented a nice little village? I feel like that.” he said dropping his voice a little.
