“SHE WAS A NONENTITY, A PRETTY FACE”. People have this tendency to boil Gwen down to just being this nice girl Peter dated, and they either love or hate her for it. But Gwen was a lot more than being a generally nice person, and people overlooking is not surprising, but it is disappointing. Gwen is such a human character that it made people feel like they’d lost someone themselves when she died.
