Does anyone have a beloved character/media that goes so frequently misunderstood or looked at from a surface level that you become an excited dog whenever someone Gets It

MIGHTY NEIN FANS HOW ARE WE FEELING!!!!!!!!
I totally get the desire to somehow be disabled "enough" for people to take you seriously and treat you well, but that's unfortunately a myth. There is no point of disability where you won't have to face ableism. Life wouldn't actually be better or easier if you were Y instead of X. And the sooner you realize this, the sooner you can stop the imaginary competition and join the fight for ALL disabled people's right to support, resources and happiness

Another storytelling rule I think people should remember is the law of diminishing returns. If you keep on ramping up the stakes higher and higher and higher, after a point it gets to where the audience canāt really care anymore.
āno oneās ever mad at me unless they tell me soā is the best assumption iāve ever made
sorry for tagwatching but you still have to act like they arenāt mad at you imo! bc itās the mad personās duty to make it known if they want anything changed. it is never anyoneās duty to be a mind reader.
Also, on that note, if you are mad at someone and don't tell them, you also cannot expect them to know or do anything about it. Just like you cannot be expected to be a mind reader with other people, they cannot be expected to read your mind.
And like, sometimes that's fine! I definitely don't tell people I am mad at them if there's nothing constructive that will come of it! It's just also important to keep in mind because if you are hoping for a resolution, it can't happen unless you let the other person know what's up.
