he gave a small wave to the person who seated him, an open area though the cafe was rather picky with sitting placement apparently. a slight huff can out as he sat down, lifting his sunglasses to the top of his head he couldn’t find himself to look at the menu quite yet. gazing over to the ocean on the other side of the sand. he wanted to be swallowed by it, athens as exciting as it was felt rather… frightening, like on the brink of something that wasn’t – shouldn’t be bothered.
with that ambrose smirked, nothing was out of his reach, if it ends him so be it. turning from the alluring water his eyes scanned the outside seating, another lonesome fellow sitting as he was. no food on their table he gave a little nod to them. “dare to dine with a stranger?”

──── the shore was calming, intoxicating almost. it was somewhere that nyx could go to be alone with her thoughts, nothing but the sound of the waves bothering her. she was looking at the waves when the man had beckoned her over with a dare. she turned her head to face the stranger ... no, he wasn’t a stranger. nyx recognised his face. narcissus. however, he did not recognise her, likely having succumbed to the curse. another god who’d forgotten themselves, how grateful nyx was to have remembered.
‘ well i was enjoying the peace & quiet ... ’ she raised an eyebrow, weighing her options. she couldn’t stand idle conversations, but she was ever so curious to know more about the mortals who stood in the place of gods. she gestured to the chair opposite, having no intention of moving, ‘ but if you want to join me, you can. ’
