A whole decade of solitude.
10 years, since his ‘passing’ – and more importantly, the King’s death.
8 years, since the invasion and the uprising.
and 7 years (or so), since the off-chance coop with the 10th’s Captain.
Ggio Vega wasn’t a stranger to being alone; what came before his servitude to the Lord of Hueco Mundo was in fact that very experience. The reason it stung and served to pain him in this period however, was due to him having a break from it for some time prior. That much he deduced by himself – yet even hiding behind reason and logic or acknowledgment didn’t make it go away. He was entirely alone.
So an independent Arrancar, detached from the current ruler’s band and possibly hunted down. What is he to do besides whatever he wanted? “…Nice weather today too.” The skies in the world of the living were so much different from Hueco Mundo’s. Bright in daylight and filled with color throughout the day; even at night in their darkness, were they distinct from the cold black of his home realm. In this broad daylight, he took to idly stand for a moment before staring down to find a potential target area.
Somewhere, isolated. Not many people around. It’s a shame he couldn’t create a diversion like he’d wanted to, as bringing in several Hollows to occupy the local Shinigami might have been a nice assurance plan. As he stared down the metropolitan scenery, Ggio took to a quick dash – finding a certain park in which a couple were lounging. “…That looks good.” He smirked, diving right down.
No crater, no hard landing – no indication that he invaded. He’d come to learn that causing a scene would be disadvantageous. In this small clearing not too far from the city, about 7 or 8 people present each minding their own business; he was going to make his mark.
– Ah. But there was one of those around already, right?
It took her some scanning before she spotted the stand-out figure approaching the nearby park. Humans generally can’t make such great leaps and dives without suffering greatly, physically. She almost missed him, honestly, as she had been looking down towards the ground at first. She did lose sight eventually, but she at least had a direction and a trail of Reiatsu.
Naturally, at this point out of sheer curiosity, she started to follow behind Ggio towards the park. She wasn’t entirely sure who or what he was, and wasn’t excited to start a fight without knowing whether she could win or not.
She eventually used her flash step to close the distance quicker, and landed in the grass of the park, out of Ggio’s vision. She could feel him there, and it was only a matter of moments before she’d spot the figure. If it wasn’t for what she could only recognize as a mask on his head, she could have missed him entirely. By this point, he was bound to detect her close presence, especially as she began to reveal her own Reiatsu for just that purpose.
She wanted him to know she was there, hoping there wouldn’t be any need at all for a fight. Though she’d keep her hand on her zanpakuto just in case, while she cautiously approached.
