Here’s my take on this.
Intersex bodies do not need correcting, intersex bodies are not unnatural. Intersex people deserve autonomy.
Stop nonconsensual intersex surgeries.

Hey all, while we're busy normalizing women with hairy legs, hairy armpits and bushy pubes, let's also normalize women with hairy upper lips, hairy chins, hairy side burns, hairy chests, and all the other places where women are supposedly magically hair-free.

I mean I get where they’re coming from
But I get why it’s there also
I imagine it’s there for the same reason something like “tw: food” would be
It’s for people with body dysmorphia or ED who may get triggered by seeing a body type they do/don’t want in this case
Trust me, I used to be the type who thought content warnings and tone tags were stupid and cringe
But the more I saw them used, and the more I used them, the more I realized it just helps make the internet a better place to be for everyone
So please, people of tumblr
A little compassion and understanding goes a long way
Before you write that 200 page essay reblog about why someone or something is problematic, think first “why would they have said/done what they did/said, and what affects it has on others”
you seriously cannot be sympathizing with censoring people's body types because "oh think of the poor skinny people who don't like seeing fat people :((" this is coming from someone who completely understands and supports most other kinds of content warnings including warnings pertaining to food: grow up. fat people exist. you cannot warn us or censor us or diminish our existence because we don't appeal to your skinny bitch aesthetic
Okay, when you put it like that I see what I did wrong
But I just wanna clear up
I’m fat myself
And I damn near wanna kms anytime I see anyone remotely feminine and attractive
I get so jealous and angry and depressed that I don’t look exactly like [insert conventionally attractive character here]
I guess I just misread the signals
Now that I admitted my mistakes
Can we forgive me
I cannot handle being harassed over something I admit I did wrong tonight
you know what, i'm proud of you for owning up to how you might've come across. it's not always easy, and even though i was aggressive i'm glad you came to see my perspective anyways. i hope your life ends up better than what it is right now, i believe you deserve that
Hey, hey, look me in the eyes when I tell you this okay? The whole "do trans women or trans men have it worse?" debate going on right now is the most obvious CIA bullshit on earth cause honestly we've both got it pretty shitty and fighting each other isn't helping anyone
