A single call should be enough for there to be noooooo more guns in the residence. Gun deaths go up significantly when there is a gun in the residence. It usually ends in a homicide or a suicide, sometimes both. In the rare event that a victim shoots their abuser, they are drug through the courts like a fucking dog. Guns do not defuse arguments, they escalate them so quickly and so often. I’m so tired of known violent abusers being allowed their guns or having them briefly confiscated and immediately returned while people who were convicted of nonviolent felonies are not allowed to own guns at all. Either we’re disarming people who pose an active risk to others or we’re approving of family violence related homicides.

it is genuinely so unbelievably annoying to be a child trafficking survivor and have to listen to people argue about shadows on the wall when it comes to children’s rights and child abuse prevention. the only true way to prevent child abuse is to take away parental control. give children rights. give them the education, resources, and rights to say yes or no to whatever and whoever they desire. i know what would have helped me. i’m so mind numbingly sick of all of this. everyone wants to feel like a hero, but nobody wants to help anyone.
there is not a pedophile cabal hiding in the shadows waiting to kidnap children. parents are the number one perpetrators of child sexual abuse. my kidnapper was my mother. my traffickers were all paid by her and had legal custody over me. i was forced thru constant manual labor and sexual humiliation in the name of “therapy” because parents are allowed to do whatever they want with the children they own. the end of adult supremacy is the only way to end child abuse.

Hi I transitioned without even thinking I had dysphoria. Like later in hindsight I can go "oh that's probably what it was" but for the first year of my transition I was straight up like "I like being a guy but I like being a girl WAY more" and you can do that!! There is no prerequisite amount of suffering needed to make yourself happier.

white people please just purchase native artwork and jewelry from native people i keep seeing idiot white people be like “waaah i wish i could support native creators but its cultural appropriation” girl why would beaders sell you their earrings then. just dont get a medicine wheel or a thunderbird then like damn it is that easy
If Native folks are making it to sell to white people with the approval of their tribe, it’s not “appropriation”–its support and appreciation! So yes, buy that native-made dream catcher, but not the mass produced fakes made by white people. Like, you can go to a pow wow and buy native crafts there, too.
