Your everyday life has always been the same cycle—wake up, eat, go to work, and get yelled at by your boss for something you clearly did not do.
“Y/N!” this, “LEE Y/N!” that.
But something very, very amazing awaits you at the end of the day—and nothing else makes you happier than 𝘢 𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴.
It all started from when you were casually scrolling through the app store, and there it is—𝘉𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘋𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘗𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘢: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘋𝘢𝘳𝘬 𝘋𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘉𝘪𝘰-𝘗𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘢—none other than the game that is literally your lifeline. You don’t know how the game made you so attached to it, but you do certainly know that your friends are one of its reasons. Including the fact that you’re the second highest ranking player in the game next to your friend, Soobin, maybe.
You just finished showering up—something to help you ease up a little after 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺. You put on your usual, what some may call an 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢; a wig, make-up, headset, and a nerdy shirt. You don’t bother to put on the rest of your outfit because who would feel the need to see what pajama shorts you are wearing, anyways?
Right after, you hop on 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦 as usual to call your one and only online bestfriend—Soobin—“Hop on, now,” he says firmly. Not even a greeting, not even a question about your day as usual—𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘶𝘱 𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘥. “Hello to you too, soob-underscore-akery,” you respond through the mic, but hop on anyways.
“Who is this low-rank guy?” you tease and scoff, you’re not bothered at all—but it’s unusual for you to play with newbies. “Taehyun,” the guy responded, tone low and calm and yet, you can still feel the slightest hint of him being offended in his voice.
soob_akery : might be off for a while, help him rank up! Kai will be with you too.
hyu.kai_kml : (◎ヘ◎;)? No!!!
Then Kai logged off, trying to avoid helping in any way possible. And so of course, it leaves just the two in the lobby; the newbie and you.
“Well, uh...” you broke the silence by speaking through your mic again, “Let’s rank up, shall we?”
After what seems like forever, you finish your last game; after somehow only two losses and four wins! You stay in the lobby for a bit more and muted your mic to grab your phone; 3:53 𝘈𝘔. You’re hungry and tired. So in order to put an end to your agony, you hurriedly typed out.
ynsuu._ : taehyun let’s hop off now im hungry
taeforhyu.n : i am too. see you, y/n.
You turn off your gaming set up right away, your hands habitually going for the keys on the counter—you didn’t bother dressing up and just put on a simple hoodie. When you open the door, you’re met with the face of a new neighbour.
“Oh!” You utter out with a reaction, your brows up from the surprise—“are you the person that the landlord said will be moving in? nice to meet you!”
Below your expectations, he gives you a simple glance—his eyes half lidded and a look of tiredness etched on his face before he walked away. Of course, you catch up to him right away.
“Where are you going? Are you heading to the convenience store? Let’s walk together! What’s your name?” You say every thought all at once, tone fast-paced like you’re the most excited person ever—𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘴 𝘪𝘧 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘯𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘪𝘴.
“Ah, seriously!” The man suddenly pauses his walking to complain, looking down at you—he’s immediately met with your anticipated gaze up at him—which, somehow, gets rid of his annoyance right away.
“What’s wrong?” you question him “Ha... nothing,” the man sighs softly and runs a hand through his hair, “My name is Taehyun.” he added. When he says his name, your mind immediately flashes back to the moment the newbie guy you 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 had a gaming session with—you brush the thought off as a coincidence.
“And yes, I am heading to the convenience store. We can walk together.”
“Just... Just don’t talk too much,”
“Okay, okay...” you sigh, playfully rolling your eyes.
It has been a normal and casual day for you, unusually. You intended to go on a night walk until you open the door to the two of your friends.
“Woo! How long has it been since we last visited dear Y/n’s apartment?” your friend, Sky, asks with possibly the loudest voice ever—which the other one, Suho—follows with an exaggerated, and what seems like an excited “yeah!”.
“... Sky,” you call out to him, “you told me that the two of you wouldn’t visit me ever again just because of how high my apartment is!” you continued, then smacked him on the shoulder.
“Ouch, master!” Sky responds in pain, “that hit hurts a lot,” he added.
“Master, you promised us spicy chicken wings.” Suho reminds you of the promise, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘥𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘢𝘨𝘰.
“Ugh! seriously, don’t call me that with loudass voices...” you groan, yet your tone remains low and humble—afraid of being heard by your upstairs, next door, and downstairs neighbours.
... Too unfortunate for you, 𝘛𝘢𝘦𝘩𝘺𝘶𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵. Before you could even notice him stepping out of his apartment, he rushes back inside and covers his mouth dramatically—his brows furrowed, eyes widened from shock—there are only one possible explanation of what he just heard, well, at least for him; the two are your slaves and you’re recruiting Taehyun to be the third one.
“𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘳𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘣𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘬!” he thought to himself.
For the next few days, your neighbour ignores you—and when he is pent up, he accuses you of stalking him, and somehow—𝘢 𝘴𝘦𝘹 𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥...?
“Stop talking to me! I don’t want your company.”
“Don’t follow me around! I’m going to call the cops on you, seriously!!!”
“I don’t want to be 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘳𝘥 𝘰𝘯𝘦! I know you get called ‘master’ a lot, I don’t want to call you that. Piss off!”
Oh, 𝘸𝘰𝘸. That one confused and concerned you in every way possible—even made you think if he’s somehow schizophrenic.
“What do you mean by being the third one? Explain to me, at the very least!” you argue back, preparing to defend yourself form whatever your neighbour is on.
“YOU KNOW WHAT THE HELL I MEAN!!” he yells, flustered from how embarrassed and nervous he is—he then hurries into his apartment.
Right. That definitely made you understand what he meant.
Fortunately for you, the “other” Taehyun has a gaming session with you tonight. Running to an online friend for a bit of help and advice may have your mind at ease for once today.
You hop on BDP right away to cure your mood.
taeforhyu.n : hi baby
ynsuu._ : quit calling me that ew
ynsuu._ : I wanna rant to u abt someone
taeforhyu.n : ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ It’s been two weeks since we started ranking up together, I should be comfortable, baby.
taeforhyu.n : I also achieved the guild requirements already all thanks to u
taeforhyu.n : have u accepted my marriage proposal?
taeforhyu.n : btw go on
ynsuu._ : that’s nice to know!
ynsuu._ : anyways...
ynsuu._ : I think my neighbour is crazy lolololol he thinks I’m some kind of master apparently recruiting him to be my third slave idk how he got that idea
taeforhyu.n : ...??
ynsuu._ : confuisng, right? he also has the same name as u. when I approach him he accuses me of being a stalker??!!
taeforhyu.n : what a coincidence ㅋㅋㅋ I have a neighbour that I’m also accusing of the same thing but I’m certain they really are one
taeforhyu.n : have u accepted my marriage proposal request?
ynsuu._ : maybe my situation applies somehow to them too, ugh... people these days
taeforhyu.n : baby it’s better to be wary bcs they keep following me around and I’ve had a stalking incident before too. shit happens
taeforhyu.n : have u accepted my marriage proposal?
ynsuu._ : ... right hahaha
You log off the game right after talking to your friend. Is it really a coincidence? How would that be if you’re literally in the same situation but still opposing in some way?!
That can’t be. This planet has about eight billion people, of course there’d be someone in a similar-but-kinda-opposing-situation! Well, anyways... that isn’t much of a big deal even if it was true, right? The block button exists, you can move out anytime—there are a ton of apartment buildings in the city—you can cut off contact right away. But still... 𝘯𝘰 𝘸𝘢𝘺!
The next day, you made the ultimate decision to cook; your sunny-side up eggs may be burnt, but it won’t be after at least only a few attempts! This breakfast, after all, is an offer of unity and peace between you and your only neighbour.
You woke up at 5 AM just to make sure you can get this breakfast ready before 8 AM, which is the time your neighbour usually leaves for his convenience store cashier work.
How do you know that, though? Well, it’s not like you’re an 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭 stalker like he accuses you of being. You just memorized his schedule because you can hear him getting ready at 7 AM in the morning, the walls are in fact, 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺, 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 thin.
It bothered you at first, but you couldn’t manage to lose your neighbour from just one complaint. After all, your work is at 10 AM.
After what seems like forever, you actually manage to cook the perfect breakfast meal; two sunny-side up eggs with a smiley face drawn on using ketchup, five pieces of ham, and a medium scoop of rice with some melted margarine.
You knock on Taehyun’s front door. Three times. Five times. And then ten times, he finally answers.
“What do you want? I told you to leave me alone!” he crosses arms defensively, brows furrowed once again, and his gaze down at you—making his eyes really look like they’re about to tear up from fury and annoyance.
“... Taehyun, I know you’re mad at me. But it’s all just a misunderstanding, I promise, dude.” you extend your arms to show him the plate of breakfast meal, offering it to him.
“And how can I be sure of that? You might poison me too, weirdo...!!” Taehyun exclaims while looking warily at the food now in his hands.
“I promise! Kill me if you must if you start feeling something weird,” you defend yourself right away.
Your defenses eventually convinces him to eat, and he allows you to get inside his apartment—yet, he’s still looking at you with the same expression, while eating as well.
“Is it good?” you ask with a sweet smile on your face, and Taehyun catches on it right away.
“Uhh... I guess,” he responds, mouth still full of your food that somehow looks like it made him soften up more.
“I’ll bring in food to you for three more weeks, maybe it might replenish your dull-looking apartment!” you tease him.
“shut up it looks fine.”
After three more weeks, you’ve officially been neighbours for a month now. There are a lot of things you figured out, and that includes the confirmation of your neighbour being in fact player @/taeforhyu.n ! The one you had been flirting with, the one who constantly calls you baby, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢 𝘸𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘢𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯-𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘦.
You confirmed these things fast in your second week of cooking for your dear paranoid Taehyun, but you felt the need to at least wait until the last day of the third.
And that last day is... 𝘵𝘰𝘥𝘢𝘺! You made a promise to yourself to bring it up, you want to postpone the promise for a week for your own very good.
But you can’t ever break promises, especially one to yourself!
“Have I gained your trust, Taehyunnie?” you drop the formalities in the midst of conversation while also watching him eat your last “unity-offering” meal. You give him that sweet smile again, nearly making heart stop.
Taehyun looks away immediately as he also finished his meal, then mumbles. “... somehow,”
You don’t know how you can bring it up, but it has to be at some point.
So, there goes the thing.
...
“I’m ynsuu-period-underscore- on BDP, Taehyun.” you try to state in the most calm way possible, and Taehyun still reacts in the overly exaggarated way—making him spit out the water in his mouth, 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘦.
“Ah, are you serious?!” you react with disgust right away, rushing to use his bathroom to wash your face.
“Shit, I’m so sorry!” he yells after you.
“Haaaa... fuck,” you exhale as you walked out the bathroom, then the two of you proceeds to take in air to calm yourselves down.
“I’m really sorry, Y/n. I didn’t mean to do that. On my soul.” Taehyun holds a hand up in the air, the other held to his chest as if to make a promise.
“Alright, alright... my gosh... let’s continue the earlier conversation,”
“I already believe you, Y/n. There’s no need for an explanation to that,” he responds.
“Why not?” you asked him as you sat back down on the sofa beside him, “the signs were already showing, I just dumbed it down because I couldn’t manage to make myself believe that my online friend is 𝘮𝘺 stalker...”
“I’m not a stalker!” you defend yourself, both index fingers pointing directly to yourself like you couldn’t believe someone would call you that. “and did you just say, ‘friend’? like... seriously?” you point out, “YOU CALLED ME BABY, FLIRTED WITH ME, AND SENT ME A MARRIAGE PROPOSAL!” you added with a slight hint of fury building up in your tone.
“Okay, then... girlfriend, I’m sorry.” Taehyun teases, yet his apologetic tone still lingering—which has your building up fury eventually dumb down.
“Are you, really? Then give me a kiss,” you tease him back, expecting him not to give in—then he suddenly grabs you by the back of your head, not aggressive enough, but enough to pull you in for a kiss—which makes you fall down onto the sofa entirely.
Taehyun deepens the kiss, lingering for a bit more before he pulls away—the tension between the two of you less awkward, but definitely 𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳.
He takes time to catch only his own breath, before he proceeds to go for another kiss that makes you weaken underneath him.
“Is that enough?” Taehyun asks you sarcastically, his lips that were just devouring you now curved into a perverted, cocky smirk as he breathed heavily.
“Not... not really...” you responded in the same sarcastic way, your words uttered in an airy, exhausted way.

Taehyun is the top student of your entire school. Best in sports, best in Math, best in Biology, best in everything—you don’t know what about him that made your heart beat at the first sight of him.
It all started from when he transferred to your school last year, he was assigned to your class. Class B—he has been first in 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 since he transferred, yet, he always refused to move to an upper class.
Then he stayed, proceeded to become the representative of the second in everything class. Because of this, the two of you somehow made friends. The closer he got, the louder your heartbeat felt—but he was oblivious, your feelings were unknown to him—or so you thought.
“Make Y/n fall in love with you, and reject them after—that’s all you need to do in order for me not to reveal your family’s secret,” Taehyun was told, he doesn’t want to do that—he never would do it willingly—but 𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘰.
Then the day finally came.
Taehyun expected it.
But he refused to want to accept it.
“I-... I have something to tell you,” you spoke each word with a hint of anxiety, your sentences starting with a stutter—“I-... I like you, like a stupid amount, Taehyun,”
“it’s been half a year, so I just want to let it out—it’s okay if you reject me, I’ll have it coming either way...”
“Whether I tell you it’s fine or not,” you added with a scoff, then bit your lip before you hand him a letter—which he eventually rips apart before you.
You didn’t cry, you didn’t want to—but you felt your heart pierced. As if something had been stabbed through it all the way to your back—“oh, uh... okay,” you opened your mouth slightly, like you wanted to say something more, but all you could do was hold yourself back.
Taehyun stared back at you, his eyes not showing even the slightest hint of empathy. “I don’t like you back,”
“...don’t do this again.” he continued, his tone stern and cold. He then walked away without looking back, Taehyun wanted to—he himself knew that, of course—but he couldn’t.
Taehyun loves you. He loved you so much, more than anyone could, but he had to—and he wishes you knew that.
You stared at him walk away, and when he disappeared into the stairs back down the third floor—you felt your knees weaken, lose balance—you fell to the ground, cupping your face in the way you’ve always done it, to cover your tears when you cried as a child.
You expected him to be empathetic at the very least, but Taehyun wasn’t.
At least a “I’m sorry, I don’t like you back,”—but he didn’t do any of that.
How could a human be this possibly 𝘤𝘳𝘶𝘦𝘭 to another?

It has been around only two weeks since you and Beomgyu got together, what could go wrong? You are his first love, and he does struggle with a lot of things.
Not that you don’t understand, but it’s hurting you slightly due to the fact that even saying, “I love you” back is something he is so embarrassed about.
One time, you got in an argument a week into your relationship — why? You met up in a park at night and confronted him about his inability to show affection.
“Beomgyu, can’t you at the very least try harder!?” You softly yelled at him, trying to keep your cool despite how fueled up you already are.
“Y/n, I told you; I don’t know about certain things yet!” He argued back, explaining himself in the best way possible.
“Well then, do something about it. I’m tired of constantly putting up with the fact that even saying you love me is something you struggle with so much.” You sighed deeply, sitting down on a bench as you calmed yourself.
Beomgyu gulped, his lips curling into a a frown and his eyebrows furrowing — he stays silent for a brief moment, the tension between you and him growing larger.
He stays silent for a brief moment, taking in the seriousness of the scene before building up his courage to speak up again — in a way more calm tone.
“I’m sorry, I am trying my best. Help me through it and I promise I will show you the most affection since.” He says, awkward tone with his gaze away from yours.
“... Fine.”
Now, you have been stuck always guiding him to do the romantic gestures. Such as placing his hand on your waist, holding hands, kisses on the cheeks; everything.
He even tries to do those gestures himself, but always fail.
You’re currently walking in an amusement together, you’re just right beside him — yet, he can’t bring himself to hold your hand.
**“Youuuu can do thissss, Beomgyu!”** His inner thoughts yell at him as he attempts to reach for your hand, but instead, he looks like a movie character barely able to hold onto the hand of another person helping him as he struggles to survive hanging on the edge of a cliff.
Without noticing him looking all dumb, you look around the park — biting your lip as you stare at the cotton candy stall. “Beomgyu, let’s buy that!” You grab his hand and rush to the spot, dragging him so easily despite how tall he is.
As you stood by the stall, you held both of his hands — tilting up your head slightly to look at him as you waited for him to buy the food.
Beomgyu gulps, feeling his heart beat faster as his hands tremble for a moment. He slides his hands away from you nervously like an anxious admirer, feeling his cheeks heat up slightly before speaking up. “I-... Uh... Uhm... Oh, yea, I’ll buy it.” He barely manages to talk out, words between stutters.
He moves your purse out of the way to his pocket, reaching for his wallet and paying 12, 000 KRW for two. “wh-... What... What flavour do you want?” He smiles at you awkwardly, sweating slightly. “Blueberry... And you?”
You furrowed your eyebrows as you stare and listen to him speak, holding back your laugh through a smile.
“Uh, I‘ll get that too.” Beomgyu notices the stare, faking a cough and clearing his throat before looking away.
Later that day, your date already ended — but there was only thing he’s had on his mind since; your beautiful eyes looking at him as they shine like they reflect the constellations as your soft, smooth hands hold his.
You’ve held hands before at least multiple times, but this one felt so weird to him — why is it giving such a big impact on him that only it is stuck on his mind?!
He gets up from his bed and stops his, “stare-at-the-ceiling-while-thinking-of-her” session to message you.
He inhales deeply, and exhales to let out his loser vibes. You two are already together, so what is there to be so weird about? You’re not his crush anymore, he’s already your BOYFRIEND!
“Calm down, Beomgyu.” He quickly tells himself, building up as much courage as possible. He grabs his phone and opens the Messages apps, ready to be more affectionate than ever.
But, wait — “How do I show affection through messages?” He thinks again.
And so he spends an hour researching about how a lover can be sweet through messages. All because he wants to look more cool of a boyfriend to you, without your guidance.
After further research, he finally messages you, barely rethinking whether he will look cringe or not.
“Baby, did you have fun during our date today? I love you, you looked very beautiful as well. :))”
Seeing his message, your heart nearly falls out of your chest as you think of a response; you’re used to saying these kind of messages more!
Smiling so widely out of happiness, you get out of your bed and jump excitedly from how fluttered you are.
“I did have fun! Thank you so much for buying me food, I love you too, baby. You looked so handsome too. ♡”
Since then, you’ve been messaging every day — showering one another with lots of love and affection. Although he still struggles with showing affection in person, he’s starting to learn and often does little things such as holding your hand himself.
He tries his best to give you kisses sometimes, but ends up embarrassing himself after; considering the fact that not even a kiss is something he’s experienced before.
Everytime a girl tries to do that when they confess, he avoids it immediately — his excuse, “save the best for first and last”.
Today, you decided to go out with your friends — alongside your lovers, as they wanted to do a double date through forest camping.
“Baby, I’m shy. Can I just NOT go?! I’m begging.” Beomgyu pleads, even when he’s clearly all ready and dressed up.
“Beomgyu, oh my gosh. It’s just a date, I promise you — my friends won‘t beat the shit outta you for not interacting with them. The least you can do is come with me and smile every now and then at the function!” You argued, dragging him towards the front door as your friends called out to the both of you in front of your house.
“Ugh,” He groans dramatically, wanting to speak back but holding his tongue. He pouts his lips and furrows his eyebrows, crossing his arms before mumbling a, “fine.”
As you got into the car, Beomgyu notices that a guy is coming without a significant other — which is the guy you’re sitting beside at the front seat. Not feeling the need to sound offensive, he brushes it off and sits with a couple at the back.
Beomgyu hesitates for a moment, but then he taps your shoulder anyway. He whispers your name to call out to you, “Baby, are you not sitting beside me? Do I seriously have to sit beside a couple instead of you?”
Feeling him tap your shoulder from behind, you look back and reach for his hand — “Beomgyu, it’s fine. They wanted to sit together but there’s no more space left.”
As you were just about to talk to Beomgyu more, the guy driving the car suddenly speaks up, “hyping up” everyone.
“Are you all ready for our half an hour road trip?” The guy jokingly says, a sweet smile etched on his face. Beomgyu is already annoyed as he is earlier, and somehow, your guy friend makes it even worse by interrupting your conversation.
He wanted to say something again, but shuts his mouth instead, giving a VERY obvious fake smile.
The driving did take half an hour, and Beomgyu’s suffering did take half an hour to endure too. Everyone, including you, was having fun. Except him. He couldn’t have fun at all without you by his side, you were just in front of him — except, you were having your fun with some annoying guy sitting beside you.
When Beomgyu got out of the car before you, the guy does after him and opens the car door on your side. Seeing the scene, Beomgyu keeps his poker face — staring at your guy friend for five seconds maximum, judging his entire existence for having the audacity to open that car door before him.
Beomgyu then walks to the back of the car and carries your luggage to the cabin, staring again for a brief moment as you and your guy friend explored the camping forest.
When the group succeeds with placing all their luggage inside the cabin, Beomgyu sits on the sofa — all sweaty and tank top wet. After you finish talking to your friend, you glance at Beomgyu — feeling your heart pound so. fucking. fast.
You feel your breath hitch and fasten, gulping as you struggle to get your eyes off of him — like somehow, your gaze is completely latched onto the sight of his tank top drenched in sweat. Just when you thought the sight before you couldn’t get any better, you see his hair messy, forehead drenched in sweat as well; and his cheeks all puffed up and a bit pink as he exhales. When you notice him about to glance your way, you quickly try to look distracted; exaggerating your tiredness and waving your hand at your face for some air.
Beomgyu stares at you with a concerned expression on his face, he glances at the cold bottle of water he just drank from, then back at you — he takes the water and approaches your way, handing the bottle.
“Baby, here. Go rest.” You nearly zone out as you look at the water bottle, as soon as you get back to reality — you open the bottle and chug water down your throat, trying to calm yourself when your boyfriend approaches you looking so GOOD.
Later on, the night has finally hit; Beomgyu immediately walks up to you before your guy friend does.
“Let’s share a room, it has been so boring all day.” He suggests, knowing full well what his intentions are.
Without a single clue, you agree right away and head to your shared room. When you both get inside, Beomgyu pushes you to the bed and sits you down — locking the door behind him.
Overreacting, you look down and start blushing as you think of what he’s about to do to you.“... Let’s have a talk.” Beomgyu sits beside you, immediately silencing your thoughts.
Pulling you back to reality, your face gives out an obvious look of dread and disappointment, making you frown. He barely notices, brushing it off as he wants to focus about something else at the moment.
“I saw how close that guy driving and you were earlier, do you prefer him over me?” You look at him right away with your eyebrows furrowed and forget about your disappointment.
Faced with such a bad accusation, you attempt to reassure him, “What? No! That’s ridiculous.”
“Really?”
“Of course, Beomgyu. Stop being silly.” You sigh.
Rejecting your defense, he stares at your sulking face, then glances at your lips — his expression showing how tempted and jealous he is.
You cross your arms and look away, as you thought he was going to apologize; he grabs you in a slightly aggressive way, laying down onto the bed — he holds your wrists together above your head, straddling and locking you in place with his knees pressed against the sides of your hips.
“Y/n, I don’t believe you even a single bit.” He spoke, his tone firm as his expression showed anger and jealousy.
He glances at the locked door behind him, exhaling heavily as if he’s been tired of what he’d been dealing with all day.
Beomgyu isn’t usually like this. He never is, so what is happening right now? Is the situation so bad for him to starting acting like this?
Out of your attention, he starts kissing you; he has never done it before, so he’s doing it so messily to the point he’s grabbing onto your hair — not that aggressively, but aggressive enough to turn you on and make you kiss him back. As you kiss, he starts to let out soft sounds, showing just how much he’s enjoying you.
He pulls you up slightly. He then cuts off the kiss, only to kiss you more on the neck, as if he’s worshipping the sight of you.
This is the cutest state you’ve seen him in, unable to control his love for you and pouring all of it out — you’re loving every single bit of his kisses.
He kisses you on the face, your forehead, cheeks, chin, nose — literally everything in sight for him.
As he got tired, he lays down beside you, hugging you tightly like a koala. He kisses you for the last time before drifting to sleep.

Soobin has been waiting for his members to walk out of the house and get in the car. He sent Yeonjun a message 20 minutes ago, telling them to hurry up — he palms his face in slight annoyance, the group is chaotic everytime they go on a trip together. Soobin hopes that at the very least, they will be having a peaceful time at France with no crowd in sight gathering around them as usual.
As he was just about to pull out his phone and view some girl-that-he-has-been-crazy-about-for-a-year’s account, the members finally arrive; cutting his crush errands off. He moves aside, closer to the other right window. “Where should we go when we arrive at the destined country?” Kai spoke and placed his luggage under his seat, “I don’t think we should worry about being late, it’s 5:32 PM and the flight takes off at seven.” He added, tapping Soobin lightly on the shoulder.
“Let’s look up tourist spots on the way, we can’t do that as soon as we’re at the plane.” Taehyun suggests and pulls out his phone.
“Oh, mon Dieu, tu as encore brûlé le pain, dépêche-toi de le refaire. On a beaucoup de livraisons à faire!” Your boss softly yells at you, yet still in frustration, making you back away slightly while scratching the back of your head — this had been the third time this week that you made a mistake. Of course, it’s okay to make such; but starting Monday has been a very busy week for your bakery.
Your boss palms his face, furrowing his eyebrows as he rushed to handle other orders — with you rushing as well to fix your mistake. You don’t want to get yourself fired, but you’re so stressed to the point that it even gives you headaches.
Later that day, you open the door to your apartment — lips curled into a frown, eyebrows downturned inwards; showing your stress, anger, and everything only the universe knows that you went through. Trying to prevent yourself from crying to sleep, you grab your phone from your sling bag and hurried to call your bestfriend. As soon as she answers, you scream into the phone — knowing that she will understand right away. “Girl... What happened?”
“Everything pisses me off, I make mistakes all the time. I always try my best to prevent those mistakes but why THE FUCK am I so clumsy? I almost got fired today because I made my third mistake of the week.” You complained in the most madman tone possible. Sensing the strong negativity coming just from your tone through the phone, your best friend advises you one thing — “Look into dating and find someone you can spend time with and shower each other with love.”
“BUT I ALREADY HAVE YOU!” You spoke in defense then hung up, not wanting to do her advice at all. You have sworn on your soul that no man will ever win your heart, and your mindset had been the same since you broke up with your boyfriend.
Today, you went on with your usual routine — you serve customers, and they pay you. Your manager asked you specifically to take onto the night shift as well, so you’re basically just suffering the whole day. As much as you did not want to be there and thought of going home right away, you were promised extra payment. So, there you go; doing anything for the sake of paying rent and buying your daily needs.
While wiping the bakery’s windows, a guy rushes in — clearly trying to catch his breath. “Are you closing?” He asks, scratching his head in frustration. “No, we’re open 24/7. I wouldn’t be suffering here in the middle of the night if we weren’t and I didn’t want extra payment, what can I get you?” You answer casually. “아, 좋아요.” He responds, which isn’t something you understood clearly. But anyways, you both approach the counter, “I’ll get a dozen of the... Uh... That?” He points to something on the menu. “Pain au chocolat.” You state the name of the bread. “What else?”
“Five light lunch items and some brioche too.” He adds as you write down the order of the handsome guy in front of you. “Name, mister?” You give him a slight smile, knowing full well that you do not do that in your bakery; but your last job at the café back in your home country did teach you. You can guess some torture methods given to you at work does come in handy eventually.
“Soobin. Choi Soobin.” He said, you swear you’ve heard that name somewhere — but you’re not really sure. So, in a state of confusion, you write down his name without asking any further questions. “Oh, you’re a foreigner? You’re good at English.” You complimented him as you grab the tongs and placed his assorted breads into a large-sized paper bag. Unbeknownst to you, he actually prepared what to say in advanced for this conversation because he is not good at all when it comes to speaking English.
“Uh... Thank you.” He says awkwardly, handing you his payment. Korean won, how much is this, what the hell? You pull out your phone to convert the KRW to EUR. 100,000W = 57.78 EUR. And so you give him his change, nearly getting that headache again from doing all the math. You wave him a polite goodbye.
For the rest of your week, that same guy kept going to your bakery — which made you motivated to the fullest to work more often and less on making mistakes. During these days, you finally got yourself familiarized with the man. Damn, he even brought his members with him — you strike conversations with them when you take their orders, and eventually learned that they’re staying for a month as their group break. Their names are... Choi Soobin, Choi Yeonjun, Choi Beomgyu, Kang Taehyun, and Huening Kai.
Two weeks had passed and it’s your third week now, you and Soobin befriended each other. He knew it full well that you recognized who he was, but he couldn’t care less — what is there to fear for when you don’t care about their identities either? Hell, you even exchanged numbers. Through this, you taught him more English through text.
It’s night time and you were just about to sleep until Soobin messages you. “Let’s go stargazing together.” His message reads; you don’t know why out of all people, he chose you to do that with. “Why tonight? Haha.” You reply, questioning his intentions.
“Just go, you’ll find me at the small crossing bridge nearby your town.”
Reading his message, your expression sparks with concern — just what is he about to do? And so you did go without thinking of it any further. You didn’t even think anymore of what his reason could be, you ran out as fast as you can.
There, by the side of the bridge, you glance at Soobin; looking up at the night sky, stars shining and the glistening water under the bridge reflecting the soft moonlight. “Choi Soobin!” You yell and rush towards him, before he even turns his head around to look at you, you pull him in for a hug — trying to comfort him.
“Y/n, what’s wrong?” He asks in confusion, “You tell me what’s wrong!” You retort, concern etched all over your face. “I’m fine, dude. I just asked you to be here with me because I didn’t want to look at the stars by myself, it feels too lonely.” Soobin smiles softly at you, then looks down to the lake water with his lips pressed together — as if he’s trying to hold in a laugh.
After a few seconds, he couldn’t hold it any longer with you staring at him with your eyebrows furrowed in frustration. He bursts out laughing, slightly tearing up from the joy eliciting out of him. “Not funny, man.” You exhale deeply, then turns away to look at the sight he had been staring at for the last 15 minutes. Beautiful, indeed.
When he finishes laughing, he suddenly speaks up — in a different, sincere tone; “You know, I’m always asked about how my idol work is going, it’s not very often that someone asks me what I’ve eaten for lunch. Y/n, please, don’t stop doing that.” You scoff in response, not knowing what to say as you continued to listen to him in silence. “I treasure the way you care for me, it has been almost a month. We’re about to fly back to Korea for work again.”
“Y/n, do you know why I invited you with me to stargazing? That’s because the stars reminds me of the way your eyes shine every time that you look up at me as we talk, and the moon right now reminds me of when you told me that you were born on the waxing crescent phase.” He spoke each word with such a sweet, genuine tone — you could sense the tension between the two of you, you’re not sure at all whether it’s good or not; the silence of the night is so loud that you can only hear his voice speaking so sweetly of you, the sounds of the wavy water, and your own heart beating.
“Y/n, I need to stop beating around the bush now and waste my time. I like you.” He confesses, “It’s been a year, I know you’ve only known me personally for almost a month now — but I’ve always admired you online, I always viewed your social media posts through a secret account. Why? Because then, what would my fans think of me if I liked a random girl’s post? It’s honestly pure luck and destiny that I met you working as a clerk in a bakery in France. I’m usually supposed to have no personal feelings as a celebrity, but the way you care for me reminded me that emotions should not be ever bottled up deep inside the heart.” The silence grows heavier as soon as you hear him. Your heart beats faster, knowing that he’s confessing in person — it’s unusual for you to experience it, because the average man these days would confess to you through text. The more he spoke, the more your heart fluttered.
Sensing rejection through the heavy, silent tension between the two of you, Soobin says; “You don’t have to answer, Y/n. I just want to pour my feelings out, I can’t keep it in for any longer.”
As he was just about to walk away, your mind suddenly comes up with one thing — he is the right one. You grab him by the wrist and drag him back. Under the silvery gleams of the moon, the cold night air hitting on your skin, your stars finally collide as you pull him in for a graceful, genuine kiss — feeling the spark between your souls, only the sounds of your intimacy and your two hearts beating as one remain. He kisses you back with love full of sincerity, gentle and slow as he placed his hand on the back of your head, the other on your lower body as he pulled you closer.
You stand on your tiptoes to reach his height, noticing your struggle, he leans down slightly — allowing you to kiss him freely without struggle.
And then he pulls away, to hug you more tightly compared to earlier. “I love you, so much. I feel more happier now that we know each other.” He mumbles, head buried onto your neck. “I love you too, Soobin.” You spoke in a soft tone.

You always try your best to stay in your lane, but you can’t help it as someone with attachment issues. So, what can you do? You love that, ”friend” so much. He’s someone you had grown up with starting from when you were in high school.
It’s not easy for you to let go, even you other friends know that.
Kai Kamal Huening; a guy so important for you, that if he told you to jump off a cliff — you would actually do it.
When you first met, you stayed together until afternoon — he first brought you with him to explore different places, then stargazed for at least half an hour before going home.
And damn, only the universe knows whether all that stuff meant something to him unlike you, that has had a crush on him for years. He never talks about your past with each other, but, well... he does talk a lot about his present with this girl he met a month ago — he never showed you who this girl was, but the only thing he told you was that her name is Ha-eun.
“Earth to Y/n!” Kai waved his hand at you, repeatedly calling your name out. You turn his head to him — surprised and out of your trance.
“Let’s go to the cafeteria.” He said as soon as you panned your attention to him, while smiling at you — his face a tad bit too close to yours. Your cheeks blush a faint, rosy pink. “a-... ah... Okay, then.” You responded between stutters.
There, at your table, you sat patiently — staring at him get food with a blank expression on your face, arm propped up to support your chin resting on your knuckles.
Kai then approached your table, smiling sweetly at you as he placed the tray down. “Eat up, it’s my treat today. No need to pay me back since...” He suddenly pauses mid-speech and bit his lower lip, as if to hold back another smile.
“since what?” You furrowed your brows, head tilted slightly to the side.
“Since she finally said yes to me! We’re officially together now.” Kai said with a bright smile on his face, arms propped down on the table with hands holding onto the cutlery tightly.
Your eyes widen from the sudden news, you gulped as your smile slowly vanished. “Did I say something bad? You look wronged,” He spoke up with concern etched on his face; his smile completely vanishes too, replaced with a frown due to the unpleasant tension.
You zone out completely, your world nearly stopping — as soon as he calls out your name 𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯, only did you snap away from your trance. “I’m sorry, something caught my attention,” You lied, Kai glances away with what almost looks like a frown.
“Let’s eat, I’m dying of hunger.” You broke the silence and reached for your cutlery, then proceeding to eat with the moment of stillness between the two of you. You ate the fancy-looking fries on your plate, which sadly, tastes more like depression and contemplation.
The day eventually ends with nothing but a heavy tension in the air between you. Hyuka drove you home with the loudest silence inside the car which gladly ends as he bid you goodbye with a bitter smile on his face before driving away immediately, before you could even wave back.
You walk into your building with your back in a slumped position that makes you look like a 𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘢 𝘴𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘱. When you finally reach your apartment that is somehow three floors and two apartments away, you tap on the keypad lazily with a bag of cans of beer you spent half of your barista salary on getting each from the vending machine — and of course, you throw yourself right onto your “emotional support couch” the second you slam the door locked.
Your face shows nothing but dread and disappointment, your mind throwing back to the very moment Hyuka told you about that stupid, “yes” of hers.
Just when you’re about to give up on life and cry to sleep drunk, you receive a message.
Your trio group chat with 𝘛𝘢𝘦𝘩𝘺𝘶𝘯 and 𝘉𝘦𝘰𝘮𝘨𝘺𝘶.
Soobin is a cam girl lover?! 🤣🤣 : “Y/n, lol... I know you’re crying right now. Kai told you about it, didn’t he?”
Taehyun 👀👀✌🏻✌🏻 : “allow the king to tell you himself, that man is LYING.”
Soobin is a cam girl lover?! 🤣🤣 : “Well, hold on. Don’t make him look like a bad red flag. Let us explain first.”
Taehyun gang 👀👀✌🏻✌🏻 : “He has been using the jealousy method on you to see any signs of you liking him back. He tells the entire tubatu it apparently isn’t working.”
Soobin is a cam girl lover?! 🤣🤣 : “We’ll come over to your apartment along with him, we’ll trick him into thinking we’re going to karaoke. Talk it out, PLEASE.”
You leave the two on seen, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴. You wake up at 9 PM from the two men at your door with delayed and definitely not synchronized knocking along with whispering that is somehow literally on loud volume, calling out your name — you get up from all the drama and eventually open the door, fearing what your neighbours would think of you having men at your door in the middle of the night.
There, stood the three. Your two, “helpful” friends with the love of your life locked in between them. He desperately tries to get out of their grip, but meets a deliberate push towards you. The push makes you both fall to the ground — with Kai on top of you.
He nearly gets dazed for a moment, staring you down before he stood back on his feet. “I, uh... I’m sorry,” You gulped and glanced at the floor, unable to hold your emotions back — you attempt to run away to your bedroom which ultimately fails by Kai grabbing your wrist to stop you just in time.
“y/n, let me explain first,” He pleads and reaches for your other hand, holding the two with enough grip that surely isn’t hurtful. “look, I...” before he could even say another word, you cut him off — “What is there to explain? That you lied to me 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦?” You spoke each word of your argument in a harsh, emotional tone, pulling both of your hands away like you’d have touched something filthy.
“I’m not mad that you lied about having a girlfriend. I’m just... disappointed. I expected you to be honest with your feelings, and what did you do?” You questioned his being, your heart almost feeling like it’s being stabbed with each word that comes out of your very own mouth. “You deceived and hurt me. I felt in some way that now you have the love of your life, I should keep my distance. Because my place in your heart will always be found nowhere inside, no matter how long we’ve each other.”
You can feel your emotions taking control already as your eyes slowly teared up, you look down to the ground — as if looking for something to distract and stop you for at least a second from arguing further. Before you could even glance back up, Kai cups your cheeks — holding your face up to look at him, he wipes your tears away with a thumb as he glanced down at you, his glistening eyes showing how painful your words are. Despite that, he gulps, and pressed his lips together before he pulled you in for an embrace.
“I’m... really sorry,” He whispered to your ear softly, his tone sincere and sounding of nothing but concern and love. You slowly raised your arms up to hug him back, and buried your face onto his shoulder to lean on. “Are you?” You questioned him again, “Yes, really. I’ll make it up to you tonight.” Kai responded and gave your forehead a soft kiss.

summary : Yeonjun wants you so desperately for some reason, even though you’ve rejected him already.
genre : loverboy!yeonjun x manhater(?) reader
warnings : kissing & cursing, I think that’s all:>>
a/n : I almost published smut out of this, but I replaced the scenes last second because I was too ashamed. Dude, bye
Choi Yeonjun knows it full well how difficult it is to light up a spot for himself inside your heart. After your last break up, you kept rejecting everyone right then and there — because you swore that if things went wrong with the same guy again for the fourth time, you’re never loving someone again.
Well, you did try to love other guys after the first and second; in the end? You led one on by accident because you were confused by whether you loved him or not, and the other treats you like absolutely bullshit. Since then, you sometimes break down by how guilty and hurt you feel — you wish you could just go back in time and punch your ex carelessly.
Anyways, today is going on as usual — you get ready to step onto the hell of a campus, go to your classes; except, you have a school assembly early in the morning because of some couple getting caught fucking behind the old building.
You sat on the floor beside your friend, and of course — Yeonjun chose to sit behind you, even though you’re in completely different class numbers. He taps on your shoulder lightly, whispering to you, “psst, Y/n!”
“Dude, what the fuck do you want?” You whisper back in frustration, turning your head to him. When you finally look at him, he hands you a box of chocolates. He pucks his lips, pouting at you cutely. You can’t lie to yourself, he may be annoying as hell, but he is attractive and makes your heart flutter sometimes — but you already rejected him, yet, he doesn’t take the hint. At all.
Well, he does know it already that you don’t like him back — he doesn’t want to give up though, and he never will. He’s the son of the most famous stylist in your country, rich and most of all; a model.
No one ever understood why he was going for someone as you. But that’s exactly the type he’s going for; someone that he can put his entire effort into and still being rejected despite his status.
He loves you because he knows that his sweet, small gestures makes your heart flutter and not the fact that he’s so perfect for a man in this time and age. Well, anyways… you furrow your eyebrows and take the box of chocolates shyly, giving him a glance before you spoke up. “Wh-... Why are you giving me these? It’s not Valentine’s day.” You spoke, slightly stuttering as your ears burned up a bit.
“Because I appreciate the way that you look so effortlessly beautiful every time that I look at you. It’s like I’m looking at a performer, so I decide to give something in return for the amazing result.” He replied.
“The-... The fuck? You’re spouting nonsense again.” You turn your back to him again, ignoring your classmates teasing you for the interaction. Yeonjun smiles at you sweetly, admiring your shyness.
As the school head gave his, “lecturing speech” to the students — you opened the box of chocolates, your mind rushing back to the time when Yeonjun fought with his bestfriend over you; Choi Soobin. Soobin had never been the type to fight back, especially to Yeonjun — that’s why he always clings to him, because he’s the cowardice type.
He grew up with the other side, so he can’t let go of their friendship that easily — because he wants to be that understanding friend that Yeonjun treats him in the same way. So, he came up with one resolution; to distance himself and not cause any more conflict between the two of them due to how badly everything turned out when they realized that they liked the same girl, which is obviously, you.
Just when your mind starts to linger more, the school head suddenly calls out, “Who is that student eating in the middle of an assembly? Does this look like lunch to you?” You flinch, freezing in embarrassment. Your friend taps you gently on the head, “not you, Y/n. That one guy from the other side’s fourth row.” He giggles.
The day eventually proceeds with Yeonjun pestering you as usual; he follows you around, acting like an unannounced boyfriend.
“What are you doing after class, Y/n? Wanna fuck?” He suggests casually, like it’s something normal to ask someone you’re not even dating, observing his nails meanwhile you — spit out your drink in shock. “Have you gone mad?” You softly yell, looking around the cafeteria to see if anyone heard. “I was joking, calm down.”
Yeonjun cracks up, laughing so similarly to his friend, Kai. “Look at me,” He spoke in that casual tone again and grabs your chin to move your gaze back towards him, “Let’s go out tomorrow, I’ll bring you to that one restaurant my father held a company dinner in.” You scoff and call his bluff, then swatted his hand away with a smirk. “Is this your way of asking me to a date or are you are just deliberately showing off your father’s corporate perks?”
“Both, maybe — I don’t know. Anyways... Yes or yes?” He leans closer and rests his crossed arms on the table, turning his head slightly as he met your gaze. You smile at him slightly and blink a few times before answering, “Yeah, sure. Whatever.” You poke his cheeks and grab them to tease him, scrunching your nose, “Ow, fuck! That hurts.” Yeonjun retorts in pain and makes you laugh.
You then stand up, “Let’s go now to our next class!” You grab his wrist and held it up high, he pulls away immediately. Just as you were about to call him out, he goes for your hand and holds it. Your cheeks flush a faint pink, looking away with a smile on your face and eyebrows furrowed. Your smile then drops when you remember your promise to yourself; don’t fall in love again. You pull out your poker face immediately, acting unfazed — you give his hand a platonic squeeze over a romantic one.
Today marks the day of your date with Yeonjun. You decided to wear a casual shirt with some jeans because that’s really all what you have inside your wardrobe as of now. When Yeonjun arrives at the function to pick you up, his outfit is nearly the same — just looking a bit more richer with some jersey shirt worn over his white shirt compared to yours for some reason.
You scoff at the gentleman before you, looking up at him up and down with a smirk on your face. “You look good, I guess...” You complimented him and lifted an eyebrow, then crossed your arms. Yeonjun smiles at you confidently and adjusts his shirt while staring at you directly to show off, “Let’s go, pretty.” He then said.
At the restaurant, you both eagerly waited at your table for food — “It doesn’t take this long, usually.” Yeonjun commented on the situation. You’ve been drinking water repeatedly out of impatience, it has been 23 minutes, to be exact. You can feel your bladder about to explode. “Uh, yeah... Yeonjun, I’ll go use the restroom real quick.” You excused yourself, he stares at you as you marched towards the women’s restroom — holding back his laughter. He did tell you not to drink too much water, after all.
When you finished and walked out of the restroom, you notice a familiar, tall figure — Soobin. Out of camaraderie, you tap him on the back, “Soobin!” you excitedly called out to him. He turns his attention to you right away. As soon as he does, you pull him in for a friendly embrace — making him hug you back. “Where have you been? It’s been three months.” you questioned him. “I study at home,” He replied, “I decided to only attend school during examinations.” He continued.
As you drifted through the conversation, Yeonjun watched from afar — your food set on the table. When you came back from the conversation, Yeonjun ate silently; almost ignoring your presence completely.
“I might have to leave early today, want me to drive you home?” Yeonjun suggested and broke the silence between you that he himself made, despite the stinging feeling piercing through his heart out of jealousy. “Yeah,” you answered.
Back inside the car, he sighed before asking. “Who were you with earlier in the restroom?” he continues your earlier conversation through a question, his tone casual and calm — hiding his emotions perfectly. “Ah, no one.” you attempted to lie, because you knew how things may turn out again.
The silence inside the car is heavy, thickening with each word Yeonjun is holding himself back from saying.
“No one,” he repeats, his tone soft yet firm at the same time like an official trying to stay calm. His grip on the steering wheel tightens as his eyes fixated on the road. The way he’s so calm is more unsettling than a yell.
He finally pulls up to the curb in front of your house, proceeding to shift his gaze — his expression is unreadable, yet his eyes are searching yours, almost as if looking for the honesty he knows is missing.
“That’s a long time to spend speaking with ‘no one’, Y/n,” he suspected. “Especially when they look tall enough to be spotted from the entire cafeteria.”
“I saw you talking to Soobin. Why would you hide that from me? I’m not trying to argue with you, y’know,” He clicks his tongue. “We’re not together, I know that — but that’s my friend I fought with over you.”
“Fuck, fine, I did talk to him. But I was not sneaking around at all — hop off it, dude.” you answer in frustration, yet with a hint of guilt lingering in your tone. “You hugged him, you refuse to do that with me,” he points out calmly at first.
“How will I fucking hop off of that so easily when you can’t do that with me at all, the one that’s been around you more this entire time?” He breaks. “Because with him, it’s simple!” You snap back, the guilt finally sharpening into a defense mechanism. “There’s no fucking history of fistfights and 'unreadable' stares with him. I hugged him because he looked like he was losing his best friend.” You continued your words with hesitancy. “With him, a hug is just a hug. With you, I’m scared that if I touch you, I won’t be able to pretend that we’re not together anymore. I’m not hiding him from you, I’m hiding US from myself. It’s absolutely stupid because I’m doing all this too in order not to fall in love again, especially with fuckboys like you.”
“Oh, really?” Yeonjun questions your words with a smirk on his face, almost not believing you. “So you do like me? It’s just that you’re in denial?” He spoke, his tone showing a small hint of sarcasm. “Fuck it, yes!” You answered with frustration showing on your entire face.
“You’re an asshole sometimes.”
“What—?” Before you can even process those four words, he pushes you down and pins your wrists above your head, leaving you completely fazed and frozen in place.
He starts to give you sloppy kisses on your neck, he forgets all about giving you time to think, the kisses he’s pressing on your neck wet, affectionate, and erotic all at the same time, driven by an urgency that borders to be feverish.
You don’t fight back at all and instead of pushing him away — you act on the instinct your brain has yet to approve, breaking your wrists free only to pull him away from your neck to kiss him on the mouth.
“You’re unpredictable as shit.” you pull away for a second to comment on his behaviour. “Outta the blue, I know... But, so are you.” he answers with a lopsided smirk tugging on his lips.
He crashes back in immediately and kisses you back with renewed eagerness, the car filled with soft whimpers and wet sounds of your lips crashing against one another.
The collision is messy and intense, giving the two barely any time to catch your breath. Every time that you think he’s slowing down, he shifts his weight, deepening the pressure until your head is spinning.
For four agonizingly, high-voltage minutes, the rest of the world ceases to exist for the both of you — despite the fact that the car is so obviously shaking. He then finally pulls away from you — resting his forehead on yours before giving you a small kiss on the cheek then smiling down at you.
“Damn,” He commented, “You’re messy, y’know?” He laughs at you teasingly.

summary : Yeonjun wants you so desperately for some reason, even though you’ve rejected him already.

a/n : I almost published smut out of this, but I replaced the scenes last second because I was too ashamed.
