kaoru is so excited for your birthday! you’re his beloved partner and so he has to make sure that your special day perfect.

he aims to be the very first person to say happy birthday to you, regardless of whether it’s in person or via text! if he happens to be beside you when the clock strikes twelve, he’ll give you a sweet kiss and wish you a happy birthday, if the two of you aren’t together, he sends a happy birthday message 12 o clock on the dot full of kaomojis and hearts!!

he’s honestly down to do whatever you want because it’s your birthday after all, but if you have him plan the date for you, he’ll opt for an aquarium date~ there’s lots of handholding involved

he lets you pick out anything you want at the souvenir shop, although he tells you that he has other gifts planned. kaoru secretly hoping that you’ll ask him to buy some matching animal plushies, though.

kaoru strikes me as the type of boyfriend that gives the very standard flowers-and-jewellery gift, but it’s not without meaning, he spends time picking out what he thinks you’ll actually like.

he also has a long handwritten letter and a printed picture of the two of you but he stuffs it at the very bottom of his gift so you won’t end up reading it in front of him (he’s embarrassed). poor boy never experienced true romance so everything he writes is a reflection of his affection and love towards you

he loves desserts and seems to be fairly good at making sweets, so he’ll definitely be the one to bake your birthday cake! kaoru’s secretly taken note of your cake preferences and he asks around your friends for your favorite flavors and such just to make sure he gets it absolutely right!

teases you while you’re making your wish and blowing out the candles by asking things like “you wished for me to stay with your for~ever right?” play along and agree with him and you’ll catch kaoru hiding his flushed cheeks

he gets a little more sentimental later on into the night though, especially if the two of you end up cuddling after your date. he strikes me as the type to cradle your head and run his fingers through your hair while whispering words of affirmation

ends up spouting some cheesy lines about how he’s so thankful that he has you and how he hopes his birthday date manages to meet your expectations when he thinks you’re already asleep <3 he’s such a sweet boy please give him lots of love

ive been ia for the last two days and i probably won’t be answering any reqs for a while. i know i literally just started the blog like. this week but my mental health hasn’t been great and i’ll also be starting my first year of college soon.

i love enstars and i enjoying writing for enstars, so i’ll definitely be back. i just won’t be seriously responding to reqs since there’s some degree of pressure to write quality work when it comes to that. ill be leaving the ask box open tho, so anyone who wants to drop by and we can talk about enstars (or other things!!) together :] you can also send reqs for when i get back

i really wish i didnt have to do this, but with my last blog i pushed myself too hard and i ended up deactivating as a whole and i don’t want that to happen again

i reread a bunch of stories for this but it still ended up feeling a little ooc so im sorry T_T it also gets a little bit steamy in the end so uhhh

if you don’t happen to be in the same class as him, he’ll make excuses to extend club hours so he can spend more time with you. he makes god awful excuses too, like telling rei that he needs extra practice for a performance when he actually has none in his schedule. i think rei usually complies though, he finds it endearing to see koga so whipped for you <3

if you ask him to teach you how to play the guitar, he’ll gladly comply. he may seem annoyed about it at first, but he’s just trying to put up a tough front to hide his beating heart. i think he would do the thing where he has his arms looped around you with his hands guiding yours across the frets. the close proximity between the two of you makes his cheeks flush so thank god the two of you aren’t face to face

it’s canon that koga often plays card games with the twins, and he’s really competitive as well. if you happen to join in, however, he might just lose (he blames it on his bad luck) on purpose to let you win. he just can’t resist seeing that cute smile on your face when it happens~

i feel like rei has caught the two of you kissing in the club room as least once. koga gets a little needy sometimes and the thought of rei napping in his coffin completely slipped his mind, and rei wakes up to the two of you making out. koga ends up too embarrassed to show up to undead practices for a week straight

i think if you praise him for his skills,he’ll be over the moon. something like “koga-kun, you looked so cool with your guitar on stage tonight!” is enough to make his brain shut down. compliments like these easily fire him up and he’ll become even more determined to practice more and show off this side of him to you
