hi guys! so, it’s time for an official SEMI-HIATUS ANNOUNCEMENT. between starting college as a writing major, practicing dance daily, and studying a foreign language, most of the time i used to spend on here is eaten up by activities that i can’t really multitask during. i still want to write here, but replies’ll probably be fewer and further between. thanks for understanding!! <3
hey no offense i mean this in the best way but if someone you love is talking about stuff you don’t understand and is very passionate about it (like idk nuclear energy or astronomy), you can a) listen anyway even if you can’t add anything because they’re probably just happy that someone can hear them b) ask them questions about it so you understand if you’re interested because they will surely be willing to answer and happy that you care
you may not care but it means the world to someone that you’re willing to just, listen, when anyone else would just not care about being nice to them about their interests.

“ come. my place isn’t far, ” she walks, leading the way for the two of them towards the place she is staying ( a hideaway of bruce’s that she often uses when her job calls her to town ). “ i’ll explain more once we get there — i’m afraid it’s a bit of a long story. ”
All she can manage is a nod, gaze reverent. It takes TWO of her steps to keep up with Diana’s one, but Lilith does so without complaint, slim fingers slotted tight through larger ones as she follows her newfound cousin’s lead. “Well -- if there’s a n y t h i n g I have enough of, it’s definitely time.”

“I, um -- I guess so.” It’s an answer to BOTH questions, really. She’s never been paid for anything like this before, never even considered it -- but why not accept if someone’s offering, right? It’s not as if it’s always a b r e e z e to pay the bills with entry level jobs, after all. “And I... can’t show you the dead, but -- there are... other powers I can use that you can see.”
