Made a ref for Flame and basically how im gonna draw him for now on. Wanted to stick more to his original red body color while keeping the yellow colors for the rest. Btw, his ref and Ember's later along with their age all take place a couple years after DOTD, same with Spyro and Cynder.
A young dragon who's stoic and adventurous, venturing alongside Spyro, Cynder, and Ember. Aspiring to become a future peacekeeper of the realms in his own way. With flames that burn with flare and style through his skills he learns.
Flame was raised in Warfang most of his life after his family had moved during a time when the apes and Cynder were at large. After settling in Flame's parents were somewhat known in Warfang, his mother being a Consular for civil discussion, and his father being a General. Which his father was a former peacekeeper for the realms before working as a General for Warfang later on.
Growing up he did go to an academy for dragons before transferring to a new one when his family moved to Warfang. During his academic years, he wanted to focus and learn much on becoming a peacekeeper, as one his main aspirations, since his father worked as one before. Taking lessons with fire teachers to help hone his elemental skills with fire.
He even learned some combat training with his father, when he was not at the academy, helping him prepare more.
However much of it would be halted once Malefor made his return, which eventually the siege of Warfang began. After the defeat of Malefor, and the world piecing back together, he would finish his academic years and graduate, but leave home for his own personal reasons. He would end up being fortunate to hear Spyro and Cynder departing from Warfang to explore the realms.
Joining up with them alongside Ember, on a long journey through the realms.
Despite Flame growing up and being somewhat popular in the academy because of his father's work, he didn't let get to him. While ambitious and stoic and sometimes messes around, he does seek to help people, even those that can't stand up for themselves. However in situations he sometimes tries to hard to boast and make himself sound confident as he knows what to do, but sometimes he doesn't.
In summary he feels uncertain of himself and unsure of what to do, at worst he's hotheaded when he can't figure a solution to a problem. Despite this he still tries to make an effort to help, and with encouragement it can help him understand problems he can't figure out, even on his own.
He is a dragon with a burning passion to help, and become a future peacekeeper, as he looks up to many who fought for those who can't defend themselves.
