Palestinian films by Arab filmmakers getting Oscar buzz, receiving standing ovations at film screenings, the solace in knowing it was an outlet for them and a way to acknowledge the continuity of the oppression despite major events cycling in and out of news (like the killings of Mohammad Ad-Durrah, Ali Dawabsheh, Mohammad Abu Khdeir, and most recently, Hind Rajab; the mass killings by indiscriminate carpet bombings, and the sieging and targeting of hospitals) especially in contrast with the constant gaslighting, malicious overwriting and sidelining of a nation over the years.

I hope people can keep being in support of just causes, and see through all the noise.
