It always intrigued the Inuzuka at how well Hinata seemed to know her little sister and how comfortable she was buying things for Lady Hanabi. His own sister either gave him things to care for Akamaru or cash as she couldn’t be bothered to spend the time trying to find something he would actually appreciate. Not that he found that something necessary to tell Hinata. Instead his grin stayed on his features and he simply nodded to her. “Of course, my lady. We’d be happy to go with you, ain’t that right Akamaru?" 

The large dog took a small step forward and licked her hand, a big grin on his fluffy face that seemed to match Kiba’s. Especially when there was a mention of stopping at the bakery. "I’d love to hit the bakery.” One day his sweet tooth was going to kick his ass, he was sure, but for the moment it didn’t seem too bad to give into.

“Oh, are you excited to go too, Akamaru?” Hinata smiled brightly down at the huge dog. It seemed to her that Kiba had had Akamaru all his life. Or, at least as long as he had known her. She rubbed the top of his head and squished his cheeks. Hinata loved the hugs dog, and his owner as well-though she didn’t think Kiba would appreciate being petted. She stuck to petting his canine companion.

“Maybe if you’re good we’ll get something for you,” She spoke to the hound.  She then looked up and spoke to Kiba, “Let me just get my shoes on. Is there anything else you’d like to go and do while we’re out?”

Shibi Aburame Appreciation Post

There’s already a wonderful post about this great man going around but Bug-Dad gets overlooked far too often and I think we should all show him some more love.

So without further ado- Shibi Aburame.

Please consider this wonderful man who-

Is the head of the Aburame Clan, one of Konoha’s four elite clans, and is considered ‘The Pride of the Aburame’.

Is one badass ninja in and off himself. He was put in charge of the team that tried to stop Naruto leaving Turtle Island. All right, his team failed, but just the fact that Konoha considered him to be capable of suppressing Naruto is a clear indication of his power.

Suffers the same ‘overlooked and forgotten by his peers’ problem Shino does but doesn’t let that stop him getting stuff done or make him bitter.

Most importantly,he is frequently shown to be a caring and supportive father. He took Shino on father-son missions and ran to his side to help him when he was poisoned in battle- did we see any of the other ninja dad’s running to help their kids?

He adopted Torune- a child whose touch could easily kill (imagine how difficult that must have been before he learned how to control his nano beetles)- and raised him and Shino like they were brothers.

When he was ordered to give his only son to Root (where he would never see him again) and Torune volunteered to take his place was he relieved? Nope!! He was concerned for Torune and wanted to make sure he understood what he was getting himself into. I personally believe he would have done his damnedest to work around those orders and protect BOTH children if Torune had shown any reluctance about his choice.

In Summary- Shibi Abuame is a wonderful person.
