I don't mean any offense and you don't have to post this. I'm just failing to see how a gender bent Earth is transphobic in anyways. It's literally the possibility what if all the superheroes were actually the opposite gender or what they'll look like. In fact they barely even act different from their canon self. I respect your boundaries, but you can't call something transphobic when it's not.

except that it is transphobic. the whole basis of genderbending relies on the assumption that characters are cis by default, and changing their bodies to the “opposite sex”. it ties a person’s gender to their body/genitals/secondary sex characteristics. it’s directly erasing trans identities as well as intersex people. it also heavily relies on gender roles and stereotypes.

i didn’t even know what earth 11 was until i looked it up! i just saw batman as a skinny cis woman with no muscles, curves, and a skin tight suit. not only is it a normal sexist superhero design, but it’s cissexist too.

listen. if a trans person says something is transphobic, then it’s transphobic. cis people DO NOT have a say in this. we have been saying this FOR YEARS, and cis people need to listen.

genderbending is transphobic. it seems small and harmless, but so are a lot of little things that cis people wouldn’t notice.

i highly recommend reading this post, which is a better explanation that i could ever offer by just searching “genderbending is transphobic” on google.

this is my last post on the matter. don’t send another message if you’re going to try to argue.

Earth 11 versions.

Absolutely not. As a trans artist, I will not, under any circumstances, draw genderbends/cisswaps. They are inherently transphobic, and more often than not, sexist.

I’m more than willing to indulge in trans and nonbinary identities and headcanons, but I will not touch genderbends or earth 11 with a 50 foot poll.
