Sirens, and how to create one!
Sirens are not too complex when trying to design one, in fact, think of it as trying to make a fantroll. Of course, you’re given a vast majority of colors to choose from when making one. Let’s get into this.
A sirens sprite is much like a sea dwelling troll, with fins on the side of their head. All sirens have antennas coming out from their foreheads, every siren’s come differently to them. Even relatives have slight differences to their antennae, even if it isn’t that noticeable. The uniqueness of antennae are comparable to that of a troll’s horns.
The skin color for sirens are multicolored, minus of course; whites, grey, and black. A really light blue that almost looks white? That’s fine. a dark green that almost looks black? That’s fine as well. All sirens also have bioluminescence freckles, sirens have different amounts of freckles, placed uniquely on their face. They are usually place only on their faces, but putting them elsewhere is acceptable. The colors of the freckles are a lighter hue of the siren’s skin tone, usually ranging in the pastels. (as viewed above)
However, only pink sirens known to siren kind are the sirens of the ruling subgroup, some sirens can come in close to the pink shade, but never enough. Though, for the rest of the subgroups, color is not limited! Go apeshit!
Mutations are looked down upon in society, often resulting in mutated sirens to run away from society due to the abuse they face. Siren mutations consist of, but aren’t limited to: more than two eyes, one eye, more than two antennas, antennas that split to have more than one end. For example: Sollux and Vriska would be considered mutants on Argin, due to Sollux having two pairs of antennas, and one of Vriska’s antennas splitting into two ends as well as her weird eye.
In the normal MSPA clothing style, all siren clothes (mostly shirts), are a standard grey color. However, if needed or wanted, the shade of grey can be dark or lighter. But, this does not mean sirens are limited to this. Culturally, sirens are a very fashion forward race, often showing off their new looks whenever they can. Much like the hiveswap trolls, are even the multitude of fantrolls out there, your siren oc can wear any color they’d like, as long as they have they’re subgroup symbol anywhere on them. Though, the more fashionable and unique of styles usually go to the more privileged classes.
Sirens have a total of five subgroups they can belong too, meaning their symbol is based of the element they can control.
Aquians: The Water manipulators.
Fyrites: The Fire manipulators.
Aeirites: The Air manipulators.
Earthians: The Earth manipulators.
And Aetherites: The Aether manipulators.
And to note, the only subgroup that comes in one color are the Aetherites, the rest are not limited to the colors shown above, however, there are more of those in the specific subgroups than others. And the colors for a sirens symbol are usually a color relating to their own color not red symbols for fyrites, blue for aquains.

There is a naming rule for sirens, much like trolls. The first name is always 5 letters, and the last name is 8 letters. Otherwise, go wild!
