Stiles, you are not even trying to move your eyes away. At least Derek has the decency to look up to your eyes. Not cool, Stiles, no checking each other out when you guys aren't going to do anything about it. If there is sterek going on, it needs to happen on screen, preferably as explicit as possible, with no physical distance involved, and consisting of some undying declaration of love. This? This is teasing. Teasing is just not nice.

This is just not fair. I understand green eyes and blue eyes and pale green eyes with a fading blue and having a dark rim around the iris. I do not understand that fucking impossible unnatural hint of red just hanging around the pupil like howdy boys and girls I'm the rusty red who decided to show up in someone's eye today because that is just not how it works. No human outside of fanfiction and romance novels should have eyes that are a collaboration of three colours, especially if one of said three is red.

Young!Derek Headcanon based on 3x08

Derek is a generally quiet child. He likes people, but his true love is reading by himself and wandering the forest in peaceful adventures. Besides basketball, he doesn't really play any other sports or engage in teamwork. His quiet disposition distances him somewhat from Laura, who is energetic and outgoing and several steps beyond the boundary to extrovert.

At school, Derek is well-known and popular. He is the star of the basketball team and maintains an outstanding GPA. Not many people know him well though; Derek smiles at people he knows in the hallway but he isn't very expressive and rarely starts up conversations, leaving most of the school feeling too intimidated to approach him. He usually hangs out with friends from his basketball team. A bunch of "cool kids" crowded him after his success with basketball and often asks him to join them during lunch. Derek is a bit clueless at times. He's not very aware of how his classmates see him and the workings of social ladder tends to fly over his head. Laura laughs at him and thinks he is adorable; Paige thinks so too, but is still getting to the point where she feels comfortable enough to tease him about it.
