“Hello, welcome to [ café name ], may I take your order?” You ask.
“Sure baby, I’d like a latté and your number” he says, smirking.
“Sorry sir, but I’ll be back with your latté.” You say, your previous smile being replaced with an awkward smile.
As you walk back towards the counter, you begin making the man’s drink, listening to your colleague and close friend Jimin tell you that you really should be telling Jungkook to come in and witness all of the catcalling and advances you receive from sleazy men like from the one you’re serving right now.
You scoff at him, because you know, and Jimin knows that he’d fly into a rage and seriously hurt them if they tried anything with his girl. You smile at his sincerity and walk over to the man to hand him his latté.
Throughout your whole shift, you see him lingering around and making advances towards you, brushing his hand against your thigh “accidentally”, while you walk around. You begin to worry as you turn to Jimin, asking him what you should do.
“Y/N, just tell Jungkook. Even if he’ll get mad, your safety is his first priority, he’ll do anything for you.” He ended with a laugh.
“Should I? I’ve only ever seen him get mad once and it was terrifying. He was so violent, I had to shout and wrap my arms around his to stop him.” You recall. “I’ll be fine, I don’t want to see him worry.”
“I’m just saying, if you really need him, he’ll come within seconds. Kind of like a dog.” He muses. “Just be aware in case that man tries to kill you or something.”
“Yeah okay mom, I got it.” You laugh, lightly pushing him away, before starting to hand out drinks again.
The sound of the clock rings at 10, signalling the end of another hard day’s work. You sigh in relief, as you finish sweeping the polished wooden floors of the café and pick up your bag. Everyone is long gone and it’s only you, so you hastily get your key ready to close.
As you reach over the counter to grab your phone, you feel an unsettling pair of eyes locked on you. You quickly turn around to look through the clear door and see an ominous figure scurry past it, almost as if trying not to get caught. As chills run through your body, you text Jungkook to pick you up because you felt unsafe to which you promptly get a message back from him saying he’ll be there in five.
You stay within the café, making sure to check the door every couple of seconds, catching eyes with the figure of a man multiple times and you wonder whether jungkook will arrive in time before something happens. A message alert startles you and you see it’s from Jungkook again.

Before you could do anything else you hear punches flying and someone yelling while a familiar voice was cursing at them. You quickly run towards the door before you see the man you served in the café with his previous cocky attitude replaced with a bloody nose, begging for mercy from Jungkook.
You immediately pull Jungkook in a back hug to restrain him since you knew words wouldn’t be able to stop him in his rage.
“I’m gonna kill him” he replies before punching him three more times.
“Jungkook, stop! I’m okay now, you’re here! He’s already on the floor!” You plead, as tightened your hold around his torso.
He finally stops at the sound of your voice, his face softening at the sight of your worried expression. He hugs you and pats your hair before turning to look at the man.
“Touch her and you’ll never see to another day again.” He says stoically.
Taking your hand in his, he leads you with him, making sure to look back at the man slowly picking himself up.
“Baby, I think you hurt him too much. He looked really bloody, you know.”
“It could’ve been worse if you hadn’t stopped me.” He laughs, pulling you closer.
“I know. That’s why I don’t tell you.”
“From now on, I want you to tell me, I don’t want my girlfriend feeling unsafe, okay? I’ll try to keep the blood to a minimum. No promises though.” He jokes.
You laugh at him, humming in acknowledgement as you tip toe to give him a kiss on the cheek.
so I tried using a laptop to continue writing some aus and then it erased the work while I was trying to put it on schedule, so now I have to rewrite them from memory, but I’ll upload some nice pics of the boys instead, please bear with me while I figure out how to use a laptop!! 🥺🥺
